“Hey, V?” Jane asked, gently tapping on the door. “You okay?”

Venus opened the door. Her makeup was now officially ruined, and her arms, neck, and legs were a bright red from scrubbing vigorously. Her eyes were still fearful. "I… I guess."

Nessa threw another ruined wash rag into the trash, "Keep it up guys we're like 45% done."

Venus looked over. "C-Can I help?"

(He's supposed to be cleaning )
Nessa smiled at Venus, "If you're up to it," she tossed her a rag, "Dip that into the bucket and scrub away."

Venus caught the rag and inspected it for a second as if a spider could be hiding somewhere on it.

Nessa thought for a moment, "I'll be right back." She ran off to the storage room before coming back, "Here, thought you might want this" She tossed a can of bug killing stuff to Venus.

Venus smiled gratefully at Nessa with a small "Thanks." She looked at Jane. "You don't need any help? With all of your papers, I mean."
