"I'm dating the queen of hell and her heavenly counterpart. My bestfriend and his brother are upper-level demons, and I'm an overpowered hybrid that's supposed to be dead… We can fight back right?"

(lol)
Her smile grew. "I like where this is going."
(The title of my autobiography right there.)
(Ikr)
"I'm not trying to start a war, but I can't wait to start training." He grabbed a duffel bag from under the couch and dumped everything out. It had clothes and scary looking weapons and a small cooler filled with blood bags. "Let's start a war,"
"I'm tired of running," He smiled brightly.
She stood next to him, staring at the materials before meeting his eyes. "Let's start a war…" She laced her fingers with his. "Together."
(Penn?)
Darren smiled, “I’m the quarterback… or at least I was before I got cancer,”"Oh," Talia bit her lip, unsure of what to say.
"Don't pity me, please. You wouldn't have known if I wouldn't have said anything so obviously I'm fine,"

He squeezed her hand and kissed her, "Together," his smile hadn't faded.
She matched his smile. "Right. Let's get to it. Starting and then fighting a war isn't going to be easy."
"We need to start training with everybody who's on our team. Combat, mental, physical. I have the weapons, there's a room behind the bookshelf in the music room filled with them," He paused, "You are my detective now… I need to trust that you won't tell them."

Talia nodded and she drove the rest of the way with her lips pressed tightly into a thin line. She pulled into the parking lot. "Okay, everyone out, let's go!"
She put a finger to her lips. "I would never."

(Shade should be back sooooonn I think)
She put a finger to her lips. "I would never."
I've heard that before. "Perfect," he walked to the white door and entered.
She walked into the room she had seen a thousand times and stood by the bookshelf.
(I'm here!)
(YEET)
(Hey Shade!)
(Hiya!)
He picked up the bookshelf with ease and moved it aside, "Benefit of super strength," he opened the door behind it and turned on a light, the room was filled with various kinds of weapons along with a long list of names on a piece of paper on the wall.
(SHADE)
(HI!)
She walked inside, scanning the room. "Oooh me likey. You got a pretty good collection here."
A scream pierced Talia's ears. She whipped around. It was quickly cut off. She looked wide-eyed at Darren and Lillian, who got out of the car perfectly normal. "Did… Did you guys hear anything?" (No, the answer is no.)
He pulled a strange looking gun off the wall, "This one scares me," He said inspecting it, he handed it to her, "It shoots wooden stakes,"
"uuhh, no…" Darren looked at Lillian like he was going insane.
Lillian shook her head quietly, "I didn't hear anything."
She took it, analyzing it. "Hmm, is it really that smart to have it then?" She chuckled.
"Yes, yes it is," he took it back and hung it on the wall. The walls were covered in weapons, every inch. He avoided going anywhere near the piece of paper.
