Darren looked at the girls almost nervously. He saw her point at him and didn't know what they were talking about. He shot an encouraging smile to Lillian, she looked upset and that hurt him

Lillian looked away and bit her lip. She pulled her sleeves down and said harshly, "It's nothing okay?"

Talia grabbed her wrist in one hand and pulled up her sleeve with the other. "This?! This is not 'nothing'!"

Lillian tried to tug her arm away to no avail. She shouted, “So what?! I’ve got a collection of scars! It’s nothing I’m ashamed of!”

Lillian bit her lip and looked away. She couldn’t promise that. Sh-she just couldn’t. Lillian didn’t want to, yeah. But it felt necessary at some moments. One being now, however Darren stopped her.
