Jesse laughed. "Wow I would have liked to see that!"
Jesse laughed. "Wow I would have liked to see that!"
“It was interesting,” Jane laughed. “Very, very, interesting. I made Nessa buy me a burger afterwards….”
"I'll try not to make that mistake."
Nessa nodded and went to the paints, they were scattered around the counter. Venus is creative not neat you can't be both
"I'll try not to make that mistake."
“Wise.”
"Ender doesn't think so."
Jane laughed.
Venus was organizing her paint absentmindedly. She hummed and ran her fingertips over the cheap lids. She sighed, a little upset still about what had happened to her previous mixtures. She tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.
(Sorry, I got pulled away… Ugh…)
Blaine led the way to the front of the house, where the information/welcome desk sat. Papers were scattered everywhere; they were under the seat, sticking out of the drawers, dispersed across the desk, and just a mess in general.
"Woah… What happened here? It looks like a tornado swept through!" Blaine exclaimed, wide-eyed as she stared at the mess.
"Jane's fault." Ender replied. "Dunno what happened, but she didn't clean them up like she usually would."
"Well, then… Maybe she should come and help us clean up…" Blaine trailed off, thinking out loud.
Jane heard her name called. She held up a finger to Jesse and stepped out of the graveyard. “YEAH? I HEARD MY NAME!” She called.
"What happened to the front desk?" Blaine shouted back. "It's a mess!"
“When I left it it was in perfect order!” Jane cried, running over. “NO! Agh, all our bills are screwed up….. tell Jesse to move on to the Scare Room, I have to fix this.”
Blaine looked over the scattered papers once more. Her eyes narrowed as her gaze landed on something she hadn't noticed before. She picked up the folded pink paper and held it out to Jane.
"Is this yours?" she asked, feeling as if she already knew the answer.
Brendon looked at the room in horror. Maybe this should be apart of the haunted house. Attack of the paper mess.
“Um… no….” Jane said, gingerly accepting the piece of paper. “I, uh…. I dont really want to unfold it…..” She handed it back and clasped her hands under her chin nervously.
Blaine glared down at the paper for a moment before sighing.
"All right, let's see what those jerks have to say this time," she muttered under her breath as she started to unfold the paper.
Brendon was new so he wasn’t quite sure what was going on. But he had a growing suspicion that some people didn’t want this haunted house to happen. Probabaly for no other reason then why not.
Blaine read the note out loud, "'We see that you guys have a lot of bills to be paid. Looks like this little "fundraiser" isn't going to be so successful after all. Hope you have fun finding what you need! Oh. And failing AP Calc!'"
"I swear, I'm going to murder them," she growled, gripping the paper tightly.
Brendon scowled. He hated when people did this. It made absolutely no sense at all! They didn’t even benefit from it. He muttered darkily, “You’ll have to beat me to it.”
(We have over 5000 posts, guys!!!)
(Woooooooo!!!!)
Nessa heard the commotion and walked in, "I knew that was to untidy for Jane."
(I just weighed my cats…
8, 9, and 13 lbs!
My cat is fat…)
(My cats like 16 pounds.)
(Lol. Our cats need to go on diets…)
(Yeah…. It would be nice if my cat didn’t need to have such a specific food regimen.)
(Mine all live outside… They eat whenever they want…)
(You have the outside cats. Who don’t need no food from you.)
