Ender rolled his eyes. "Venus, how're you doing?"

Venus smiled shakily. "Fine." She wiped her palms on her pants and headed towards her makeup cabinet, pulling her hair up. Jane hates me. She's mad at me. What did I do? It doesn't matter… (She has anxiety now… thanks you guys…)

Blaine was so close to Brendon that she was practically sitting on his lap, now. When she realized that, her face heated up, but she didn't pull back.

(I've been busy.)

Brendon's was all ready a deep red. His neck was starting to become red also. He pulled Blaine even closer and refused to pull back.

When he pulled her closer, Blaine moved so that one of her legs was over Brendon's. A sudden wave of confidence drove the blush from her face, and she pressed her lips harder against his.

A cool breeze brushed past Blaine, causing her to shiver and unintentionally pull back from the kiss. She opened her eyes and noticed the sun setting.

"Hm… Sun's getting real low…" she mused.

Brendon shivered just noticing the cold. His body heat still ever present. He sighed sadly, "Yeah. I should probably get you home. Unless you have somewhere else you want to go?"

"Uh… I mean, home sounds nice and all, but… Well, my grandparents are probably going to pester me with questions when I get back, so…" Blaine shrugged. "I don't know. Whatever is fine with me. I can handle them."

(Btw, her grandparents are really young, like, their late 50s. Just thought that info could be useful.)

"All right," Blaine said. She remembered her leg was on Brendon's, and her blush returned as she moved it off. The cold swept around it, causing it to feel colder than it had before.

Brendon smiled, "Race you back to the car? No head starts or dirty tricks this time. And if one stops we both stop."

"Um, normally I'd give an emphatic, 'yes', but I'm a bit out of breath from our previous activities. Maybe we can race from your car to my house when we get there?" Blaine suggested, giving Brendon a look that asked him to understand.
