(Darren…)
Lillian spotted Darren and got up to help him. She lifted his arm over her shoulder so he didn't have to worry about standing.
(You never answered, I was afraid you left me… I was sad)
Was this insanity? Paige smiled goofily. Adrenaline coursed through her body. She felt clumsy, numb, groggy.
(What the hell am I supposed to say?? I've been sitting here expected you to say something for like 10 minutes!)
Darren groaned and leaned into Lillian gratefully, "Are you okay?" He whispered.
She gave him a blank stare and stayed completely still. This wasn't the same girl that had come running down those stairs a few minutes ago. This was someone new. Someone shattered. This was who she really was. A broken, emotionless, blank slate of a girl, thrown into a society filled with mentally working people. She was just static, mixed in for variation.
He begged her with his eyes to let him free from the chains that held him, or at least come closer. He looked sad and alone even though she was just feet away. He wagged his tail when their eyes met but seeing the emptiness made it freeze and perk his ears up.
Lillian nodded, "Yeah."
She said louder, "Paige. Are you okay?"

"It's okay, the demon won't hurt you," He seemed confused about it.
(Thanks shade)
(No problem.)
Paige sighed and relaxed against the sheets. Her eyes flickered shut. Something like a smile decorated her lips.
Her eye color faded. The bright sparkling green replaced with a dull lifeless grey. She blinked slowly, her entire body quiet and still. She was faded like an old garment. Reset. Factory setting. Nothing. A blank canvas waiting for someone to make her into something beautiful. Something she could be proud of.
Lillian looked at Paige strangely as she reached out and shook her, "Paige?"
(Nami?)
(No)
(What? Oh, she's still here. So is E. But they've faded. She's not dead, just broken. She's having an episode. Just wait, she'll be back.)
(Okay.)

He was trapped, he couldn't help and she was his only way out of the chains holding him back. He whined louder, it was all he could do.
Darren looked at her concerned but his own vision was blurring, the pain encasing his body, "Sit," He groaned.
She didn't hear. She couldn't. She heard without hearing. Saw without seeing. Thought without thinking. The fire that burned so brightly in her before had fizzled out.
(Lol okay)
Lillian brought him to a chair and sat him down. She leaned against a wall.
(HOW DO YOU DO THAT)
(THAT'S WHAT I'M ASKING SLY.)
The wolf cried out in an eat piercing howl. He needed to see him, to notice, he would only be here for so long.
Darren groaned and held his chest. He picked up his shirt shakily to see the blood-soaked gauze. He whimpered and close his eyes.
