"Most people think that about my name, that's all!" he said, running after her and tripping.
"Most people think that about my name, that's all!" he said, running after her and tripping.
Erica turns quickly, "You ok, kid?"
"I'm at least a year older than you. Don't call me kid." he grumbled, standing up.
"You are a kid. How's Greenie then?!" She challenges, walking away again
"Greenie?" he asked, puzzled.
(Ah darn you didnt get the reference. Lol nvm)
She doesnt stop this time but flips her hood up and walks down stairs
Gabe follows. "I can show you around, it's easy to get lost in here seeing as the outside is…. smaller than the inside."
"What…" Erica glares back at him
"Sorry!" he squeaked.
"Why are you saying sorry, Greenie?"
"Just… nothing." he said. This girl was terrifying.
"Just what, Greenie. Spit it out." She walks down the stairs and looks around where the stairs ended
"Well, I was just hoping to show you around…. and….. stuff….."
"Oh? Well you could, Greenie. But I wanna see if I can." She walks left.
"Wait! You should see the library, it's amazing!" he said.
"Library?!" She pounced on that word, "Where?!"
"I'll show you!" he said, grinning. "Follow me!"
She hesitates slight but follows him, looking over her shoulder a few times.
Gabriel leads her to a library a few hundred miles tall and wide. "It contains every book in existence, and also the biographies which record one's life as they live it." he said.
"Woah!" Erica darts inside and immediately picks up the first book she spotted. She sits there on the ground and opens the book.
"You like?" he asked, flustered.
"Bad Grammar." she corrects him with her nose in the book
"Sorry. I could find your biography if you want?"
Erica freezes, "What?"
"Well, it's probably a stupid idea anyways." he muttered.
"Yeah. Cause I was a stupid kid and still am." She sighs and mutters under her breath, " I made a deal with Death…"
"Oh, the apprenticeship? That's not a deal, you can leave any time." Gabe laughed.
Erica looks up from the book, "Ya know its hard for me to read if your just standing there."
"Oh, sorry!" he blushed, running off. A few minutes later he came back with a very thick book, but most of it was blank pages. "Here, it's your biography!" he said, setting the book on a table.
Erica looks up from the book, puts it back and stands, "Uh… Cool?"
