Lillian felt her breathing hitch as she hugged him back. He may be gentle, but Lillian wasn't.

Rachel looked to Paige, "I guess this is where we part ways. I'll be back with Nami."
She turned back to the phone and turned speaker off, "I'm on my way. See you boys soon.~" Rachel hung up and walked out of the hospital a grin painted on her face.
She flicked his forehead. "I'm not as dumb as I look I swear!"
Balthazar looked Lillian in the eyes as his own regained a well-missed shade of green, he turned back and was just Darren.
She flicked his forehead. "I'm not as dumb as I look I swear!"
"I'm actually dumber than I look,"
She snorted. "That's not true! I mean, it depends what we're talking about but mostly. That mostly isn't true."
He laughed, "Whatever you must tell yourself,"
Lillian let out a small sob, "You didn't have to do that."
Rachel walked to her car and started driving to Darren's place.
She laid back with a smile. "But seriously, now what?"
"I didn't," He smiled a little, "Bal did," he almost looked confused. "I think he has a crush on you,"
She laid back with a smile. "But seriously, now what?"
"I really have nothing, I am a boring person,"
Lillian laughed with tears still running down, "I think he does too."
She laughed. "Ain't that the truth." She got up and walked to the back of the couch. She leaned over placed her head on top of his. "There. Now this is a thing."
Darren wiped her tears away and kissed her forehead, "It's better than you being dead, anything is better than that,"
A slow dramatic clap came from the behind him, "Oh my gosh you two could have your own soap opera," Cooper stood smugly behind them.
Paige was left, shocked, in her bed. She'd heard some of the exchange, but her ears got cloudy in some parts. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them, they were golden.
She laughed. "Ain't that the truth." She got up and walked to the back of the couch. She leaned over placed her head on top of his. "There. Now this is a thing."
"It is a thing, an interesting thing nonetheless," He smiled.
(Lloyd is gonna be dead when he comes back)
Lillian smiled at Darren before glaring at Cooper, "And who's fault is that?"
Rachel pulled up in front of the house. She got out and locked the car humming her little tune.
(Yeah… Demon queen. Two demon brothers. Angel queen. Lillian can fuck with your emotions.)
Paige strained for her phone. She hit the first contact her fingers could manage to press - Lillian's. She hadn't even realized how badly she was shaking. She held the phone up to her ear. It rang.
"How is it so interesting?" She giggled, messing with his hair.
(Yeah… Demon queen. Two demon brothers. Angel queen. Lillian can **** with your emotions.)
(Yeah. Paige is actually the most normal, I daresay.)
Darren heard Rachel and suddenly Balthazar was back with Shaxx next to him as they glared at the door. Bal's eyes were still green as a sign that this was by choice.
Lillian heard her phone ring. It was a fair ways away and she would have to walk past Cooper to get it. Lillian didn't like the idea of that, but it could be important. She rushed past Cooper and picked the phone up. She answered keeping one eye on the now demon brothers, "Hello?"
Rachel knocked on the door and picked at her nails waiting for an answer.
"How is it so interesting?" She giggled, messing with his hair.
"Because I am actually a puppy, you are petting me." He laughed as he closed his eyes.

"L-Lillian?" Paige stammered. Gosh, her voice shook too!
She laughed and pet him. "Who's a good puppy?" She reached down the touched his nose. "Boop!"
Balthazar opened the door, "Hello,"
