Lillian turned over and looked at Darren. She gently placed a hand on his arm. She said softly, “Hey you good?”

Darren shook his head, “He won’t stay out of my head,” he yelped.

“But he has Darren,” Ryan yawned.

Rachel sighed, “Really? You don’t want revenge or anything like that? I mean come on two girls heartlessly ripped Nami away from you. Turned you against her.”

"Get to the point."

"True but I have a leg up on that. Nami's right-hand man is Darren's demon she would do anything to protect him. She can A. Make Darren immortal or mortal at will, but so can Evangeline. And B. slaughter Cooper so fast it would make your damn head spin."

“Darren and Cooper are hundreds of years old. They already are immortal and don’t kill Coop, please.”

Rachel, “I want to get at Lillian. That backstabbing bitch has crossed me one to many times. I need to know the best way to get at her.”

Lillian rubbed hos arm and pulled him close. She released a calm aura into the space around them, “He can’t get to you.”

"She's not that," Paige objected.

Darren leaned into Lillian, he was calm but he could still hear Cooper. Tell her, you dumbass.

Lillian let out a soft smile, “Better?”

Rachel scoffed, “I’ve known her longer. Trust me she is.”

Paige's expression softened, then hardened at once. "Revenge." was all she said.

Rachel smiled, “Good. Now tell me where to hit that’ll hurt her the most.”

Paige wrinkled her nose. "Like, physically?"

Rachel shrugged, “Emotionally or socially works the best. Already tried physically and her big ol boyfriend had to step in and protect her.”

Paige's ears felt cloudy for an instant, then they cleared. "I'm not telling you until you tell me about Nami."

Rachel nodded, “Fair. Nami can be easily located and reached. You’ll have to give me a day to contact her. Okay? Okay.”

"How can you contact her?"
