"I should go get my dress back on. Be right back!" She called, skipping back to her and Macha's room. She threw on her dress and shoes again, touched up her hair and make up, and stared at herself in the mirror for a few minutes. Skylar hoped Peter wasn't just saying things to be nice… Nobody had given her compliments before. The thought of Peter made her heart race, so she scurried back to where he was still sitting. "I'm back!" She smiled, sitting back down.
"That was fast," he noted casually.
Zander followed as Dani lead him and Blake to the medical center, where he found Lily.
"Well.. I was excited to get back to you." She replied. "Do I look alright?"
Ace nodded, "You should get some rest before the ball. You look tired." his face was red from the looks Macha had given his bare chest. "I'm gonna go back. Into my room. It's not really my roo-OW!" Ace hit his head on a lamp. "I'm fine. Peachy. Great." he rushed towards his room, away from Macha's line of sight, before hitting his head again, this time on the top of the door frame. "I'm okay!"
Blake stared at the little girl and placed a comforting hand on Zander's shoulder.
Zander turned to Blake, "Thanks man, and as for that pint I owe you…" Zander pulled one of his many bottles of Rozer-Rum and passed it to Blake." Make sure you hide that from Dani."
Blake smiled. "You can count on that!" He shoved it under his wing and folded them so it'd stay in place.
Ace pulled open the dresser where he'd put his dirty shirt. It was gone. Stupid dresser. He rifled through Peter's dresser, no shirts. He sat on the floor, seriously considering asking Macha for a shirt.
"You know what I'm going to say," he smiled.
Zander grinned like an idiot as Blake hid the Rozer-Rum. He then turned to Dani. "So where am I staying ?"
"Unfortunately, I don't." Skylar admitted, Smiling back at Peter.
"He can stay with me!" Blake offered. Ace and Peter shared a room, but Blake was kept off by himself since he was more… hostile at first. Having a roommate would be nice. Especially since it was Zander.
" I like that idea," Zander said," And I don't want to impose on anyone."
Ace tried to imagine himself wearing one of Macha's shirts. It didn't look too great. He sighed and decided that he would have to stay in his room. And then his face lit up! He would get to stay in his room! He didn't have to go to the dance! But then Ace's hope dimmed as he though of Dani's face. I'm going to have to greet Dani, Blake, Zander, and Zander's sister without a shirt. And go to the ball without a shirt. Ace kicked the dresser, then fell, and hit his head on the ground, adding to the two hits he'd already gotten. Stupid dresser.
Matcha stretched, getting up off the couch and walking to her room. Taking the dress off the bed and slipping into it, she demand to elaborately braid her hair over one shoulder, rummaging in the drawers for some jewelry.
Ace knocked on Macha's door. "Macha? I need a shirt!"
(Poor Ace)
(because he hit his head)
"Well, you're gorgeous," he responded.
"Then it's settled!" Blake decided cheerfully. "Zander can stay with me." Blake looked at Dani for approval.
Frankie sighed and walked back to her room. She checked her phone briefly and wasn't surprised when she found only one text from her mom reminding her of her pickup time. She browsed some memes laughing internally and got up. It was almost time to go.
Sky blushed a little. "I.. Uh.. thanks." She stuttered. "I am sorry. I'm not used to getting compliments." She apologized. "But thank you."
"Well, be prepared to recieve a lot," he warned kindly, "Now that, ah.. now that we've made this relationship official, I s'pose," a slow grin overtook his mouth.
Skylar smiled. "yes. we have." She laughed, planting a kiss on Peter's cheek.
He breathed an involuntary squeal, "Oh– wow. That was. Embarrassing." He burst into laughter.
