"Well," He said softly, "You kinda did set off on a journey home right after you kitted."
"Well," He said softly, "You kinda did set off on a journey home right after you kitted."
"Mhmm… you were the one who kept mentioning we needed to get back quickly." Finchsong lay down her head.
"Oookkkk." He sighed, laying down besides her.
(Time skip?)
(OK)
Ashpaw laid outside the medicine cat den. Almost all his clan mates were out and about, besides Whitefire and Jaysong. The young she-cat was soon to start kitting and Jaysong would not leave her side, no matter how hard Ashpaw tried to drag him out. Being the only medicine cat in Riverclan, the responsibility of carrying for others were unbearable, but with Lillypetal and sometimes Jaysong, the burden was some what lifted.
Finchsong woke up and woke Oakleaf as well, picking up Doekit and making her way to the camp. After a few hours, they made it there around sun high. "Foxstar?" She called out, exhausted. It was important for the leader to know they had returned.
(Ok, that's what you mean… I thought you wanted to switch view points……. ._. I feel odd. And I gtg)
(oof bye)
There was silence. Maybe their were too far from camp for anyone to hear? Oakleaf stayed behind Finchsong, pushing her forward and keeping her up while they walked. "Lets first get IN camp." He instructed.
Finchsong nodded. “Hello? Foxstar? Is anyone there? Oh, I hope we weren’t attacked while you and I were gone…”
"I don't think so, Thunderclan hasn't been that active and with me not being in Windclan I don't think Shadestar would do that."
"True, but remember what Starclan said? Ashpaw had been taken by rogues and escaped. What if they want him back?"
"If they want him back?" Oakleaf repeated, "They'll have to fight four whole battle ready clans!"
"Oh, come on now. Our enemies aren't going to fight on our side to protect one apprentice." Finchsong kept walking, glancing around anxiously.
he gave her an side ways glace, "You never know, cats are all different. One moment that can hat you and the next they'll like you! There hasn't been any clan rivalry for a while so I don't think they'll not help Riverclan. For one, if a group of rogues enter the forest, that's now every clans business!"
"I know, but still. They don't even know Ashpaw! If the whole clan was attacked, maybe. But they wouldn't just for him."
"But that doesn't matter." He put in quickly, "What matters is that we're there for him, and not just him, for are kits too. All and all, they need us more then him."
Finchsong nodded. "Where is everyone?" She hopped over the stones leading up to the camp.
"Maybe inside? Maybe on patrol or a hunting?"
"I dunno… it's eerily quiet over here. Hello? Ashpaw? Anybody?"
"How about we go inside!!!" He said sarcastically, "They might be busy."
(aa rip Thunder qwq)
Finchsong rolled her eyes and went inside. There were a few cats running about, making preparations for leaf bare.
"Wow," Oakleaf murmured, "its so bare."
"Well, it is late. Most cats are asleep." No one seemed to have noticed their presence yet.
"So to the medicine cat den?" Oakleaf asked.
Finchsong nodded and walked into the medicine den. Ashpaw was asleep and still had the splint on his hind leg. "Oh! I should put the kits in the nursery with Goldenstream." She did so and soon returned.
"Did she say anything?" Oakleaf murmured, wishing he did not give up Stagkit.
"She bought the story, and she said she'll take care of them." Finchsong breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good," Turning to Ashpaw, he gave the apprentice a quick sniff then looked at the herb store. "He's been keeping it full."
