Piper had spotted a picture in one of the hospital halls and was frozen, staring at the picture.
"Piper? What's that?" Lolita asked, coming up beside her.
Pietro followed Lolita to Piper but remained silent, exercising his right to do so.
The picture was of Piper's mom, who had been a doctor at the hospital.
You could have saved her. A voice hissed. But you didn't. You FAILED HER! It screeched.
"No, no. Please." Piper whispered, tears falling down her cheeks as she covered her face with her hands.
(Oh noes who killed her?)
(I don’t know what to do………..)
(Okay hold on so there was a bad guy, wearing full black, and he terrorized a bunch of people in a place that brings back some….difficult memories for Piper. He was looking for something, which is up to the two of you to decide. Come up with some kind of 'end of the world' crisis if you'd like.)
(I don’t know what to do………..)
(Same tho.
I mean Eva is probably screaming while typing up her essay.)
(Hmmm…………. maybe he’s looking for some gem or artifact that will help wipe out people with abilities or something, once their gone they can take over the world or some shit?)
(I like your plan.
You’re hired.)
(@Carrots, no swearing pls.)
(Ops, sorry)

Lolita wrapped her arms quickly around Piper, getting a better looked at not the 'what' but the 'who'. "Piper? What's wrong?"
Pietro stood back. The woman in the picture didn’t really look like Piper, but he could’ve sworn that he’d seen that face before….
And then it occurred to him that that was his nose, his eyes.
But he didn’t say a word. That didn’t make any sense.
(Yes, yes we are.)
Piper leaned slightly against Lolita. "I should have saved her." She whispered. "I should have been there."
Pietro decided to speak up. “I don’t know what happened, Piper, but whatever it was was not your fault.” He shook his head, stepping forwards. “There’s no way.”
"It was. It always was."
“No,” Pietro said firmly, shaking his head. “It wasn’t.”
Piper took a deep breath. "How Pietro. Give me one good reason that it couldn't have been my fault."
“I don’t know what happened.”
"Exactly." Piper said mournfully.
Pietro looked sympathetic. “I never knew my mum. Just dad. And he wasn’t that awesome. But I’m sure that you are just blaming yourself for an accident.”
"I never really knew my dad. My mom said he left us when I was two. I was supposed to be there with my mom….I didn't leave the school when she called. I knew I should have left when she called."
Pietro sighed and gently asked, “Called to say…” he hesitated “… what?”
"To say she needed help. To say that the–" She clamped a hand over her mouth. "Never mind…..I'm not supposed to say."
Can I join
(If you're willing to be a suspicious reporter?)
Oh….. Ok 😊
Lolita looked at the picture. She studied it carefully. (Watch out y'all, my baby is smart!)
