Lillian smiled weakly. She grabbed the knife and followed after Darren. Stupid voice. Stupid depression. Stupid everything.

Dr. Vegran nodded. "Thank you." She walked down the hall and saw Darren and Lillian. "Excuse me, can I ask you some questions?" The doctor's eyes flickered to the knife in Lillian's hand and grew alarmed.

Jake introduced himself to the teacher and took a seat next to Theo, only to get up again and introduce himself to the class as the teacher instructed.

Theo watched as Jake awkwardly stood up and introduced himself to the entire classroom before sitting back down and winking at Theo again.

Lillian looked at the doctor, "Um sure."

Darren stopped and looked to Lillian, "uh, sure"

"Your friend. Paige. Do you know of anything that could've caused the conditions of heartache, depression, or anxiety? And did she suffer from suicidal thoughts or actions before?"

Lillian bit her lip and nodded, "Yeah she did. Something happened early today with a predatorily woman that really affected her thought process. Paige got attached to the woman since she treated her like a daughter. We had to pull the two away, the woman isn't a threat anymore. but it seems to have had an impact on Paige. She can't seem to think without her."

The doctor nodded. "And do you believe that Paige intentionally walked… out… on the road?"

Lillian sighed, "Probably. She could have thought that woman was coming back for her."

Even though that isn't and never will be possible.

"So, did this woman hurt Paige in some way?"

Lillian thought for a second, "I don't think so. The most damage that was done was to her psyche."

"How so?" Lisa clicked her pen.

Lillian let out a long sigh. She glanced at Darren before saying, "I guess Paige hasn't really had a mother figure before. The woman filled that spot. The problem is that women wasn't a good person. She essentially used Paige. But Paige feels like she needs the woman's guidance in order to do things. It's about as toxic as toxic can get."

"I see. And what is the woman's name?"

Lillian panicked for a moment. She calmly said, "You don't need to worry about her name. The women has already been taken care of by the proper authorities."

That made sense right? I am so glad for my acting skills at the moment.

Lisa frowned skeptically. "Meaning?"

Lillian looked down at her feet. Her shoulder's lifted higher, "Meaning I'm free to go now?"

Lisa sighed. "Yes. You can go see your friend."

Lillian smiled and grabbed Darren's hand. She dragged him towards Paige's room, "Thank you!"

Lisa turned and smiled, shaking her head.

Paige inhaled sharply.
