Lillian wanted to laugh and say all of them. Instead, "My face. And my right arm. It's my dominate one so it took most of the flame."

Jake nodded, "Yeah see you then,"

Theo waited outside his English class after the bell rang for Jake to come meet him when he saw Erin coming from the other side of the hall.

“Yo Maves, heard you found yourself a boyfriend?,” he yelled once he spotted him as Theo groaned. Great this was the last thing he needed today.

(Erin is Theo’s ex friend that outed him)

He nodded and gently held her face with his hands, it looked like he was hiding the fact that he was having trouble breathing while he did it but when he moved his hands, the burns were gone.

Jake walked up behind Theo, he didn't even notice the other boy, "Hey Theo," He smiled.

Lillian looked at him as she managed a full facial smile. She reached for his hand, "That's enough. Don't push yourself."

"Just let me do your arm, I'm fine," In truth, he wasn't fine… Healing hurt, his powers weren't supposed to be used for this kind of 'good' he was a demon after all. Nonetheless, he took her arm, "Please,"

Jake walked up behind Theo, he didn't even notice the other boy, "Hey Theo," He smiled.

Theo gave Jake a bless you look while trying to ignore the boy who was approaching up from behind.

“Hey fag,” Erin said as he grabbed Theos shoulder,”I am talking to you.”

“We’re you really? I thought it was just an annoying fly in the hallway.” Theo said as he pushed Erin’s arm off his shoulder.

Lillian looked at him warily before sighing, "Fine."

Jake had a sudden flashback to the word written on his locker the day after prom, "What did you just call him?" Jake was angry.

He placed his hand over the burns, this time it took longer, he was weaker now. He winced but tried to hide it, "There, better?"

Lillian spotted his wince. He pushed himself, "Yeah much. Thank you Darren."

She moved towards him and kissed his cheek. Now only her left arm had burns on it.

Jake had a sudden flashback to the word written on his locker the day after prom, "What did you just call him?" Jake was angry.

“I called him a fag,” Erin said giving Jake a smug grin,” after all that is what he is. And what are you doing hanging out with someone like him.”

He smiled and nodded before stepping out of the way for Lillian to enter Paige's room.

Lillian entered Paige's room and walked next to the bed.

"Back off," Jake seemed mean, this was a side people rarely saw of him.

Darren sat down in a chair next to the bed trying not to show how weak his legs felt.

"Back off," Jake seemed mean, this was a side people rarely saw of him.

“Oh really and what are you going to do about if I don’t? I am just trying to have a casual conversation with this guy right here,” Erin says as he slings his arm around Theo who immediately grabs his arm and throws it off again.

“Don’t touch me Erin,” Theo said.

"Leave us alone," He said taking a threatening step towards Erin.

Erin was definitely bigger than Jake in height as he glared at Jake while grinning,” Oh I get you must be Theo’s boyfriend, guess that makes you a fag too. And thought we were gonna be friends.”
