James sat on the floor and stared into the cabinet under the sink. The new pipes were bright and unstained, he glared at them like he was trying to memorize them.

"I think you did fine!" Max reassured.
"Yup!" Amanda replied, giving Max a peck on the lips and walking towards her bedroom, "I'm gonna go freshen up"
"The sink drips," He said leaning forward and closing the doors before standing up.
"Okay." Max smiled at her. "It always dripped dude."
"I know, it is worse now but I am not sure I want to fix it," he watched Amanda leave, "It is almost calming, it would be quiet without it,"
"Yeah…" He threw his keys onto the counter. "At least it doesn't explode."
"Yes, at least it doesn't explode," He nodded. "Where did you guys go?"
"Some cafe called Origin."
