"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ME BEING TOO OLD?" Death asked.

"You talk weird…"

"HOW SO?"

"Your so proper…" She crosses her arms.

Death said nothing. He took out a fine pipe and lit it. It took some very stubborn ignoring power to be able to dismiss the fact that there was a skeleton in a restaurant, smoking a pipe, with smoke coming out it's empty eye sockets, but everyone managed it.

Erica stares at him ans the smoke coming out of his eye holes.

"I LIKE VISITING PLACES LIKE THIS. CITIES, I MEAN. THEY'RE FULL OF LIFE." he says.

"But your Death." She teases and snickers to herself.

"SO? LIFE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING, HUMANS RARELY REALIZE IT UNTIL I SHOW UP."

(So will Erica die?)
Erica suddenly felt somewhat intimidated by that.

(No, he was just going off on a philisophical tangent.) "YOU SEEM DISTURBED." he said. It wasn't a question or an accusation, more of an observational statement.

Erica purses her lips and shakes her head, "Dont worry about it."

(Well everyone dies someday but…. yeah okay she might possibly die temporarily…. mwu hu hu…) "I AM NOT WORRIED. DO I SEEM WORRIED TO YOU?"

"Its a saying." She sighs

"OH. I HAVE NOT HEARD THAT SAYING BEFORE, WHAT PHILOSOPHICAL MEANING DOES IT HOLD?"

Erica's eyes widen, "Wat? Well… Just nevermind. That's what it means."

"OH." he said.

"Yeah… So. Dont worry about it." She sighs again

"I AM NOT WORRIED. I AM NEVER WORRIED."

"God dang it." Erica hisses, leaning back in her seat.

"WHY ARE YOU REFERRING TO A DEITY?"

"Stop!" Erica hisses, "Are you always like this?"

"ALWAYS LIKE WHAT?"

"Nevermind…"

"I AM WONDERING. WHAT IS IT LIKE TO, YOU KNOW, BE ALIVE? I'VE HEARD IT'S RATHER BORING."

"That was random…"

"I AM ATTEMPTING…. SMALL TALK."

"Rhats your small talk? Small talk is like 'whats your name?' 'Do you have any pets before?'

"OH. DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?" Death asked, trying to follow Erica's examples but failing horribly.
