Paige spat again and again. Her spit was getting darker. "LillianâŚ" she whispered, sinking lower to the ground.
Paige spat again and again. Her spit was getting darker. "LillianâŚ" she whispered, sinking lower to the ground.
Lillian looked down and saw her arm. The blisters were gone and what was left was a charred black skin. She sighed and looked back to Paige. Lillian probably looked as bad as she felt.
âYou should go to the ER Lillian, have a doctor check that out.â He tried to ignore the glowing for now.
She laughed. "Yes, I have. She's standing right in front of you." Her readjusted her bag on her shoulder. "Come on, let's get out of here."
He nodded and started the car, âSchools make me sad,â
Lillian ignored Darren. She didn't need to go anywhere. She kept Paige on her lap, "Do you know what's happening?"
God damn it! What should she do?!?!?
She climbed in and placed her bag at her feet. "What why?"
âIâm not even sure I know whatâs happening,â Darren groaned.
She climbed in and placed her bag at her feet. "What why?"
âDoes school make you happy?â He looked st her with a funny expression.
"Hmm it really depends. Most of the time no but sometimes yes. So I'm not really the person you should ask."
He sighed and shook his head, âAnyway how was school,â
She burst out laughing. "Oh my dear lord where do I start? It's a looong story."
âWe have time,â he said raising an eyebrow, âIt sounds interesting,â
Well, with the story is something I need to show you. It's kind of hard to do it here so I'll wait til we get back." She sat back in the seat, plugged in her headphones, and closed her eyes.
He nodded and drove home. He hopped out when they got there excitedly.
She sat for a minute, pausing. He has no idea what's coming She smiled. She hopped out and walked up to the door, hands shaking slightly.
He walked toward the house, âOut here or inside?â He wasnât sure what he was showing her.
She glanced around. Outside was too public. Too many people would see and freak out at the fact that there was an angel standing there. "Inside."
He nodded and continued to the house holding the door open for Belle.
"Thank you, good sir." She smiled, bowing dramatically before walking inside. She set her bag down and took a deep breath. He could end this all right now after seeing you. This could all go wrong. She shook her head. No. I'll be fine. I'll help him understand.
Paige gagged.
He looked at Belle, âOkay, how was your day at school?â
Lillian rubbed her back. Her aura was a red orange color. She was mad that she couldn't do anything. She turned to Darren, "We need to get her to Belle. Or a nurse. Or the hospital."
She sighed and smiled. "My day was probably the weirdest day I've ever had in my life. And that's saying something!" She paused. "I had to stop a murderer. She possessed one of my friends in order to try to make me not want to hurt her. But it was too late. I already had my mind made up to stop her." She laughed lightly. "But I didn't stop her. At least, not the girl you see standing here. The girl who did stop her is someone inside. But before I show her, justâŚpromise you won't freak out? She's already scared enough as it is and hell, what can I say, I'm scared too."
Darren looked up, âBelle left, I can drive her to the hospital,â he stood up.
âOkay,â Ryan nodded confusedly, he felt like he had had this conversation with someone before.
Lillian nodded. Her aura turned an orangish blue as it switched to determination. She helped Paige to stand.
"Belle?" Paige asked, hearing her name.
Lillian nodded, "Yeah Belle. She should know more about this than we do."
Darren helped carry Paige to the car and rushed to the hospital.
Belle sighed, dropped her head, and closed her eyes. The white fog surrounded her again. When it dropped, there stood the angel Belle. She looked up. "This is the girl who stopped the murderer. I'm Belle, but I'm the angel version. The person I stopped? My sister. Not Jasmine, my insanity in human form. Her name was Nami. You know the Queen of Hell from stories? She was real. She was the girl. Please don't be scared, I'm not going to hurt you."
Lillian was so absolutely drained. Between forcing emotions and her burns. This was just a draining day. She figured that out the moment Rachel approached her. RachelâŚâŚ She caused all of this. Lillian was going to beat her fucking ass into the ground for this.
