Paige gritted her teeth and sank to her knees. "Nami?!"

"hmmm," It was something….. sweet?" He said it like a question.

Paige backed away as the dark fog crept toward her. "Nami?"

"Oh shit oh shit oh shit I wasn't expecting this. Just stay calm. Everything is going to be fine my daughter I promise." Her voice sounded confident. But when it passed over to Belle, she could detect the fakeness. Nami was terrified.

"Yesss, keep going Lillian. You're our only hope!" The wall of fire was getting weaker, the strain becoming too much for Paige's mortal body to handle.

Lillian felt tears form on her face. She bit her lip and focused on the rage towards her mother. It hurt to do this.

"Nami?!" Paige said, involuntarily increasing the heat of the fire. She began to feel woozy, light-headed as the fog and the fire closed in on her. "Nami, help! Help me! Please…"

Belle looked over. "Oh shit." She placed her hand on Lillian's shoulder, absorbing her pain, making it her own. "Don't worry, I've got this. Angels have a very high pain tolerance."

“Something sweet….is it a type of dessert or candy?,” Theo asked.

Nami's voice was becoming quieter, becoming weak. "I have failed. Forgive me my sister. I have betrayed you." (DON'T HAVE PAIGE PASS OUT. LET HER FEEL THE AURA AND ACTUALLY GET MAD AT NAMI. I WANNA SEE THAT.)

Lillian nodded. It didn't hurt physically it hurt emotionally. Having to extend her aura this large, for this long. It drained her, and Paige did seem to be having an effect. It wasn't the desired one, but it would work.

Paige collapsed on her hands and knees, sputtering. "Nami… why would you do this to me?"

It wasn't working! She was still in pain. "Ohhh, I get it." 'Switch powers!' She switched her effect. She absorbed instead of physical pain, emotional and mental pain, and gave energy. Letting it flow through Lillian. 'I won't let her pass out. We're so close!'

Lillian felt instantly better and was able ti increase the effect on Paige. The fog started to dissipate and turn unnoticable to the untrained eye. Lillian could still see her aura around the room.

This comment struck Paige off guard. "Then… then why did you leave me?" Her eyes released a flurry of tears, which dropped to the floor. They began to bubble and hiss.

Belle beamed at Lilly. "Now, finish her off and I'm sure Paige will be more than happy to give us that crown! I'm so proud of you."

Darren walked down the hall, a buzz in his head from the previous incident. He wondered where Lillian was, should he try to find her?
