He laughed quietly and began to read it out to her, pausing occasionally for if she had a question.

“I don’t know, I’m not the treasurer,” he said, rolling his eyes and straightening up. “It should be though.”

“Dude we don’t even have a treasurer. I think that’s included into our job then.” Stellar blinked, “And this is all hypothetical, right?”

“Yeah, course,” he said. “You get to be the treasurer. Then.”

“No you’re also the treasurer, you dummy. This ship is called Stellifer, not Stellar the Great.”

“And I’m the strategist, which means you get to be treasurer,” he grinned, leaning on top of her head.

“Hmm… I guess.” Stellar smiled.

“Exactly,” Lucifer said self-satisfiedly, starting to braid her hair.

“Are you braiding my hair?” Stellar laughed.

“Yes, yes I am,” he grinned, brushing his own hair out of his face.

“You were always better at braiding hair than I was.” Stellar smiled.

"That's sad." Jinx stared at the cookies, fascinated.

“Not as sad as a burnt tongue.”

"Maybe."

Jordan smiled and shook his head, “It’ll just take a little while.”

"How long is a little while?"

“A few minutes, unless you like them comepletely cool. I like them warm.” Jordan shrugged.

"I wouldn't know. Cookies are a rare treat for me." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
