Nym giggles feeling his happiness radiate off of him "You talk to me about the things that I know you've been hiding. I don't know hat you're protecting me from, but I can handle myself."

John thinks for a moment then nods knowing that what she was asking of him was fair. "Of course…I know you can handle yourself. I promise to tell you whatever you need to know at any time." John leans in and places a kiss on Nyms cheek and whispers softly "So , would you like me to stay? Or do you want me to leave and let you get some much needed rest?"

"I won't tether you, but I won't kick you out." Nym looked at him for a long minute "On second thought I'm holding you hostage, at least till I fall asleep. You can leave whenever you'd like." Nym wraps her arms around him and whispers into his chest "Danke."

John chuckles then pulls her closer and smiles. He then proceeds to pick her up and carry her to her room, once in her room John lays her down and he joins her then turns himself towards her pulling her into a snuggle and laughs "Holding me hostage? I think not , for I now have the advantage!"

Nym giggled as he picked her up and carried her up the stairs "I only allow you to think that." She said as she snuggled into him and listened to his heart. After a long moment she spoke "Have you noticed the emotions are dulled when you physically interact?" she found his hand and intertwined their fingers

John takes a moment to think and replies back " No….well I suppose it is when I think about it " john smiles when nym takes his hand in hers. John then starts to hum feeling fully content where he is

Half asleep Nym mumbles into his chest "I know that tune" Nym trails off drifting to sleep

For several minutes john strokes her hair and smiles but he soon starts to feel sleepy listening to Nyms soft breathing. John then places a kiss on nyms forehead and closes his eyes after mumbling softly "Sleep well mia bello"

Nym wakes up to John still in her bed and she blushes. She slowly climbs off the bed, careful not to wake him. She opened a drawer in her dresser and grabbed some clothes, she desperately wanted a shower to clear her head. After getting in the shower she hummed a few tunes and softly sang a few songs. When she finished showering and getting dressed she waited for John to wake up. He looked peaceful, she remembered the night he fell asleep on her couch and giggled

John rolls over on his other side still sleeping and he snores slightly he then grumbles slightly and runs a hand through his hair clearly looking like he won't wake up too soon

She laughs "Cutie." she walks over and kisses his forehead. She grabs a pen and some paper and writes him a note "I went out for coffee, I should be back before you wake up. If I'm not don't panic. Much love, Nym" She walks down stairs and to Raimond and drives to the familiar coffee shop

After Nym leaves john stretches and wakes up slightly and upon seeing the note Nym wrote he reads it and smiles. John then gets up and uses Nym bathroom and grumbles as he looks in the mirror "I look like a mess!" He laughs and fixes his hair then leaves the bathroom and walks downstairs into the kitchen to make breakfast

Nym arrives back home and sneaks behind John and wraps her arms around his waist "Morning stranger."

John jumps slightly in surprise and laughs then turns around in Nym embrace and places a kiss on the top of her head "Good morning to you too other stranger"

Nym smiles and sits down at the island "How'd you sleep?"

John turns towards the pancakes he is making and chuckles "I slept fine …I usually do when I am around you and when I stay over here. How about you nym? " As john talks he starts to make plates for both of them

"Best sleep I've had in years. Are those pancakes? Hun, you didn't have to cook. I could've pick something up" Nym looks a little disgruntled

John smiles as he slides Nyms plate over to her then laughs "Are you afraid my cooking skills aren't to par?" John gives nym a mischievous smirk as he takes a bite of his food

"Very." Nym said playfully as she eyed the normal looking pancake. Hesitantly she took a bite "Hmmm… not bad, mine are better" She joked

john places his hands over his heart and makes a mock offended face then laughs "I highly doubt they could be better then mine any day! But I suppose next I am over or you spend the night at my place we can test that theory" John laughs again then rests his chin on his hand as he gazes at nym "But not before I take you out on a date first"

Nym almost chocked on a bite of pancake and blushed looking away from his gaze. "excuse me please." She stood up and leaped up the stairs to her bathroom to have a small social anxiety attack. She sat on the bathroom floor breathing raggedly "pull yourself together, it's only a date. Only, it's been 4 years since I've been with anyone"

John frowned as he watched Nym run up to her room "What did I say that was wrong?.." John runs upstairs and sees that the bathroom door is shut and sits in front of the door "Nym? What happened? What is wrong?" John pauses giving her time to answers his questions if he had done something wrong

"Stop feeling guilty. I'm fine, you did nothing. I just, needed… um, to calm down" hesitantly she walks to the door and opens it. She looks down at John "I have a confession."

John looks up at nym feeling slightly like a child then gets up off the floor "Yes?" John hesitated unsure of what he is going to hear

She blushed "It's been four years." she mumbled

John leans in closer to hear and murmurs softly "Four years? Since…..you have been in a relationship? Or on a date? "

"Both, I got dumped on a date" Nym blushed at the decreasing space between them

John pauses for a long moment then growls in irritation "Whom ever this was , is obviously blind and quite frankly an idiot for doing so. I would never ever do something like that to you or anyone. Plus …John laughs slightly as he tries to count "It has been well over twenty years since I have even been on a date love" John leans his forehead up against Nyms "I'm sorry that happened"

Nym places a hand on the side of his face and laughed a bit "That I can believe." She paused feeling her blood broil under her skin "Can I… No never mind. Wanna finish those pancakes." She tried to avert from the question she was about to ask.

John smiles then catches her almost question " Ah! No , you have something you want to ask nym. Just ask me, I promise to answer you like I always do" he grinned then pulls Nym into a playful hug , not letting nym get away just yet
