She puts the phone back in her pocket. "Welp, you text Darren to get to Artemis's and we should get going."

Artemis stared at her phone as she mentally hit herself, asking herself why she called. And that it wasn't a good idea to do that has she yelled to her mom they were on there way.

Belle got up and walked out the door, fixing her hair in place. She noticed the old truck and winced.

Artemis sat on her bed as she opened a box her dad had just given her. It was full of her ice skates and hockey gear as well has her jersey from her old town. Closing the box back up she shoved it into a corner of her room, she would deal with that stuff later.

“You wanna ride in something better?” Ryan smiled.

"Is there something better? Please? Just looking at the poor thing hurts." She giggled.

"Hey! Be nice, I love that thing," He said walking over to a garage. He opened it revealing a shiny motorcycle, "Is this better?"

"Darren said they'll be there soon by the way"

Jake looked up and saw Theo walking behind a woman, he assumed it was his mother and waved.

Theo waved back has they came up the steps. His mother Carmyn reached out her hand and said, "You must be Jake, my name is Carmyn. Are you parent's home my wife and I just wanted to welcome you guy's to the neighborhood."

Jake took her hand and smiled, "Yeah they're inside, you can go in,"

Artemis sat anxiously on the couch, in truth she was excited and nervous. It had been a while since she had friends over for dinner like she used to. And not to mention she was still getting to know Ryan, Darren and Belle.

"Ooh as a proper bike owner myself I gotta say das a nice bike right dere. Yes it is better." Yeah, I own a motorcycle, so what? That thing is my baby. "And fine, we'll be there soon too."

Ryan got on the motorcycle and put his helmet on, handing one to her.
