Darren nodded, he wished he was enough to make this go away, he felt useless.

"I smell food!" Belle yelled from the kitchen, too lazy to get up.
"You would be right,"
Lillian looked back to her towel wrapped arm. The blood was starting to soak through. How, how deep did the blade go?
"Can you bring it to me? I just got comfortable and I'm too lazy to move."
Ryan laughed and brought the food into the kitchen, "Here you go lazy,"
Lillian looked back to her towel wrapped arm. The blood was starting to soak through. How, how deep did the blade go?
Darren grabbed another towel from the cabinet and replaced the old one with no emotion on his face. He looked like a robot.
"Yay! Thank you!" She barely moved her head off of the tile. She laid back down, dragging her shirt up with her, revealing her stomach.
Lillian saw Darren's face and looked away. She frowned, Lillian caused him to be like this. Her mess, her fault. She should…. Maybe, keep that in the back pocket. But don't think it's not an option. It would be best for both of them, hopefully, probably, yeah. Pocket it. Pocket.
Ryan sat down on a stool and laughed, his eyes lingering over her now open stomach.

Darren looked up at her face and emotion finally crossed his, he looked sad or maybe guilty, he missed the way things used to be. He just wanted to help her.
She put her phone down, arms spread T pose style, further lifting her shirt. "I wanna get up and get food cause it's like right there but laziness."
Ryan laughed, "I can't help you there, you're gonna have to sit up."
Lillian sighed, she saw the nostalgia on his face. She wished things were the way they used to be. Soon, maybe, hopefully, "I want this to go away too. M-maybe it will soon."
"Nuuu!" She giggled. "But I don't wanna!"
Darren shook his head and put a fake smile on it, "Yeah, I'm sure it will. We'll get through this,"
Ryan shrugged, "Then I'll eat your food for you,"
Lillian smiled softly back, "Yeah."
"Bitch don't touch my food." She shot up and grabbed her food, glaring at him.
Darren looked back down at the towel as his face lost emotion again. The bleeding had slowed down now and was only bearly soaking through.
Ryan chuckled, "That got you up fast!"
Lillian looked to the towel and whispered, "I'm sorry."
"You're okay, It's okay," he rubbed the back of his neck, "I'll just make sure you won't do this again, okay?"
"Food is better than people. When people threaten my food, they threaten me."
Lillian nodded, "Okay."
Ryan threw his hands in the air, "Sorry, I won't get in the way of you and food again,"
She chuckled and gave him a small piece of her cheesesteak. "Apology accepted ya weirdo."
Darren ran his hands over his stitches as a replacement for running them through what used to be thick, dark hair, something he always did when he was stressed, "I love you, Lillian."
She chuckled and gave him a small piece of her cheesesteak. "Apology accepted ya weirdo."
Ryan took the food and ate it fast, he didn't order anything for himself. "Thanks,"
Stormy kept his head down as he walked, his hands in his pockets and back turned against the wind. He looked up when he heard soft guitar noises coming from a house not far by. Stormy walked closer, glancing at the girl playing the guitar.
Olivia played a song that her dad used to play. She closed her eyes and leaned back on the porch.
"Jeez, you act like you've never eaten before. You're like a wild animal." She laughed, drawing her hand back.
