James walked out of his room to join them, eyes still red.

Max looked over her shoulder. "Where'd you get those?"

Amanda jumped, "What?! where'd I get what?"

"Those scars….lemme see them."

"Um, uh…" she mumbled, letting Max pull her wrists towards him.

James looked over, "Where did you get the abrasions? They look like they are from a blade,"

Max looked up at her. He pulled her into a hug.

Amanda snuggled her face into the nook of his neck and let a few tears fall, "You are correct James, they are from blades."

"I had a couple friends who did that." Max sniffed. "Don't do it."

"I do not understand," he said with a confused look painted on his face.

"I can't stop it though…" she mumbled into his neck. "It's a form of self harm James, you should never do it… but I still do"

"The suicide rate is up 1.2% since recent data from 2016," He said almost worryingly. "You will not kill yourself, yes?"

"Don't kill yourself."
