Genevieve handed him the pencil, confused.

Nicola took the pencil, smiling. "I'm have to have your number if I'm going to return this."

Genevieve laughs. "It's just a pencil, you can keep it."

"Mmhmm," Aaleyah said (?), not buying Nicola's smile one bit.
