She wasn't going to tell him that she had spent the earlier portion of the evening visiting her mother. In jail. Yeah, she's not telling him that.

Darren sighed and laid down on the hood of his car to stare up at the sky, "How about you?" He said to the other kid who was just watching, "How's your night treating you?"

After he okayed, she shut her phone off and now watched Grey interact with him with not much interest.
