Darren sat down in a chair next to Lillian. He placed a hand on the hospital bed to give the option to hold it if she needed it.

Lillian whispered quietly, "You don't have do all of this."

“All of what?” He looked at her still smiling.

"Just this," she gestured to the water, the hand, to him, "You don't have to be so nice about this. I messed up, big time."

“You didn’t do anything wrong honey, this isn’t your fault,” he took her hand, “I love you, I wouldn’t pretend to be nice,”

Lillian sobbed, "But it is. It's all becuase I can't handle a stupid voice in my head."

“We are a team, we’re gonna do this together. Okay?”

Lillian nodded and grabbed his hand, "Okay."
