Lillian felt a tear slip down and she looked at her arms. She said softly, "I know."

(Last thing said.)

(Okie!)

"Why would you do this…?" Paige asked, her voice wavering.

Lillian sighed and wavered as she said, "The voice in my head wouldn't shut up. It screamed and screamed at me. I-I got desperate, and this worked."

"But… why didn't you tell me?" Paige asked.

(I knew there was a reason I couldn't understand!)

Lillian sobbed, "I thought you would think I'm crazy. I didn't need another reason to stand out."

Darren came back in the room with a nurse close behind. He walked over and sat down by Lillian.

(I speak French too but that was Italian Not Spanish)

"You could tell Darren though, right?"

Lillian shook her head and pulled her knees to her chest trying to avoid the nurses vision, "I-it wouldn't let me."

"What?" Paige was confused. "How wouldn't it let you?"

Lillian sighed, "It takes my words. Makes me silent, I have to fight for control sometimes. It doesn't want me free, it wants her."

"Who?" Paige asked intently.

“Her mom,” Darren said under his breath.

Lillian whispered and felt her body shake, "M-my m-mom."

Stormy lingered at the door, looking sadly at Paige and Lillian. He wanted to say something but…

“Do you need anything?” Darren whispered to Lillian. He needed something to do, a task to distract him.

Paige felt like someone was watching her, and she looked up and to the doorway to see- "Stormy!" She raced over to him and threw her arms around him in a tight embrace.

Lillian thought for a moment, "W-water."

Stormy hugged Paige and sighed into her hair. He looked up and gazed into her eyes. "What do you need?" He said slowly, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer.

Lillian thought for a moment, "W-water."

Darren nodded with a smile as he stood up. He kissed Lillian on the cheek and went in search of water.

Lillian smiled and felt it quickly fade. This didn't feel right. The voice whispered to her in the back of her head.

Darren came back quickly with water. He gave it to Lillian with a smile.

Lillian took and drank the water. The voice never got louder than a whisper. She knew it wouldn't last forever.
