"You said you didn't have it," He said with fake confusion.
"You said you didn't have it," He said with fake confusion.
Elide walked back out to her laptop, the girl was… the flash drive… that’s what the man now had.
"Because you weren't the one who dropped it, so it's technically mine until that person comes to retrieve it. So, flash drive please." She said, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.
"Unfortunately ma'am I don't have a clue what you're referring to. We came to pick it up because a friend of mine asked to when he was upset that he lost it."
(I actually don’t know what I should have Elide do here….)
Elide sat back, watching what was happening.
"Well, he can drag his ass back here, instead of making both of you come over, and according to the rules here, only the person that lost something can retrieve it since there is no guarantee that you are his friend."
"Well if I had the flash drive, I would be happy to abide by the rules, but seeing as how I don't we have a problem."
"Stop lying, I know you have it. Give it now."
"Honestly I don't want to make a scene here but I don't have it and I don't want to have to tell the police that you're harassing me."
"I'm not harassing you, I'm just trying to get the truth out of you. Flash Drive. Now."
"I'm gonna break it down for you ma'am," Tony said annoyed, "I. Do. Not. Have. It,"
"Then show me proof you don't have it."
"What would you like me to do, turn out my pockets?"
"Yes, please."
Tony laughed and turned his pockets out, revealing nothing.
She slightly blushed in embarrassment and kept staring at him. "Then why is it so important to you that you needed to collect it, instead of your friend?"
"He's checking the other places he went the day he lost it and doesn't have time to come here too."
"I don't trust you."
"I don't trust me either," Tony joked.
"Can you please be serious?" She said, slightly glaring at Tony.
Tony through his hand in the air defensively, "Sorry,"
"It's fine. Do you actually have the flash drive?" She asked.
(gtg)
"No, I really don't," He lied.
(Alright see you later)
“He does. I saw him pocket it.” Elide piped up but still looking at her keyboard.
Tony glared at the person who decided to be a tattletale. "She's lying. Delusional maybe!"
“I’m sorry Sir but I clearly saw you take the drive and place it in the hidden pocket in your jacket,” She glanced up and smiled sweetly, “I assure you I’m not delusional.”
Tony looked annoyed, "I don't have a secret pocket," He gave her a glare that told her to shut up and stay out of it.
She registered the look but continued, looking back down to continue typing, “And you called her a bad liar.”
"Excuse me?" He said looking more annoyed than previously.
She shrugged, “Just give her the flash drive Sir. Please respect the rules of this place.”
