Lillian smiled and nodded, "Okay."
She called Darren.
Lillian smiled and nodded, "Okay."
She called Darren.
"Hello darling," He answered with a cheery tone.
Lillian smiled at his current obliviousness, "Hey. Can you come pick me up? We need to have a little…. Chat."
"Yeah, sure. I'll be there in 5," he hung up and was there in three.
Lillian uncrossed her arms and got in the car.
"Hey, what's up," he smiled as she got into the vehicle. He looked a little confused that she wasn't happy too.
Lillian smiled back. She asked, "So, you have a brother. Named Cooper. Correct?"
Darren's smile fell off his lips instantaneously and all that was left was panic. He swallowed hard, "How did yo- Lillian I," he couldn't finish a sentence.
Lillian sighed, "Brody told me. Please explain, I'm not mad."
Yet
"There's not much to explain, He's my older brother, Cooper Anderson. We used to be best friends but then we got distant and we fought a lot." Darren looked at his steering wheel rather than at Lillian.
Lillian nodded, "Is there a reason why you grew distant?"
Darren rubbed a hand over his face, "Can we not talk about this."
(lol i feel kind of creepy just sitting here stalking this)
(Lol it's not creepy… Where the heck is Camie?)
(Lol don't.)
Lillian sighed and leaned back in her seat, "Okay. Is he coming for Thanksgiving?"
I don't know, okay?!" he said it more forcefully than he wanted to.
(Lol it's not creepy… Where the heck is Camie?)
(I KNOW WAIT WTF THANKSGIVING???)
I don't know, okay?!" he said it more forcefully than he wanted to.
(oo he salty)
(Idk… It's almost Thanksgiving in the RP)
(Yes he very salty)
Lillian shut her mouth and said quietly, "Okay."
He paused awkwardly, "Lillian, I didn't mean to– sorry,"
Lillian sighed and looked out the window, "It's fine. Just drive."
Darren knew he had messed up in more ways than one so he decided to keep his mouth shut for the car ride home. They arrived and Darren got out to walk to the house.
Lillian got out of the car and walked to the house. Her hands were in the nooks of her elbows.
Darren entered the house and turned around, "Can I get you anything?"
Lillian looked him in the eyes. She wanted to say an explanation. The voice in her head screamed at her. She physically winced before looking away, "I don't want anything."
He walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder using the other to turn her face toward him, "Lillian I'm sorry,"
Lillian was teary eyed. The voice shouted at her to stay quiet, "I-I."
"You have every right to be angry," He nodded, "I'm really sorry for everything."
