"I, uh, like them too," Axel answered after a pause, leaning against Luka's chest hesitantly. He had pushed so many people away all these years since he lost his leg and it felt odd to let people back in.
"Looks like I'll be talking to the hospital staff," Lana said, popping her knuckles. "As much as I love sneaking out, it'd be easier if we could come and go as we please."
(Lmao, Axel's an awkward kid too.)
"That's nice." Luka didn't let go, burying his face into Axel's neck and his cute hair. He liked hugs. They always felt so secure, as if he wasn't going to slip away any second and fall asleep.
Thorn let out a slight laugh, "It would be. Thanks if you do, do that."
Vaughn pushed himself up with a grunt, following Argo to the bar slowly. He could walk fine, though his calf throbbed sharply where there was a gash across it, a rip in his pants from it.
Argo opened the door, keeping it open for Vaughn as he deposited Kaz on the counter. Cas came out of the kitchen, a look of concern and irritation on his face. “I am going to kick the ass of the fucker who ran into you two, and then I’m gonna enchant your bike to kick their ass again,” he spat
Vaughn headed into the bar and leaned against the counter with his good hand. “I didn’t get a good look at the guy, but it was a pretty good sized truck. I’m sure the bike is wrecked,” he commented with a heavy frown.
"Don't worry, I've fixed it up from worse," Kaz said, waving a hand in Vaughn's general direction. "When I first put it together the thing was half rust and half dents. And if I'm lucky I might get Erik to help me." Cas rolled his eyes behind the sunglasses he used for work, pulling a small syringe from his pocket and drawing some blood from himself.
"Okay lovebirds, you're both getting an injection and then you're gonna sleep off your injuries somewhere. Who wants to go first?"
Thorn let out a slight laugh, "It would be. Thanks if you do, do that."
"Oh, I definitely will." They arrived at the movies a few minutes later. Lana gazed up at the sign showing all the movies that were playing. "Which do you want to watch?"
"Oh I don't know," Thorn sighed. She looked at the titles and pointed to one, "That one?"
Vaughn looked over at Cas, at the syringe he was holding. He was aware of how Kaz didn’t like needles, so he would go first to show him that it was alright. “I’ll go first, I guess,” he spoke up, glancing over at Kaz. He had no idea how this was supposed to work, but he supposed that he would figure out soon enough.
"Okay. On the count of three. One, two," Cas said before injecting the dark blood into Vaughn's arm. He never counted to three, he always used the needle on one or two since he thought it helped people freak out less. "Okay, one down, one to go. Your turn, Kazoo," he said, drawing more blood before walking over to Kaz
"Good choice," Lana said with a smile. "Two tickets," she told the cashier.
Thorn smiled back as Lana paid for the tickets. She would have asked for popcorn if they hadn't just eaten. It was all good though.

Your turn, Kazoo," he said, drawing more blood before walking over to Kaz
Vaughn’s jaw clenched when the needle was stuck into his arm. Afterwards, he rubbed at the spot where the needle had been stuck in the skin. It didn’t hurt too bad, and he wondered how long it would take for the effects to kick in.
"Don't bother counting, Cas. Just jab me," Kaz muttered, waving his arm dramatically in the air. Cas rolled his eyes, taking his arm and injecting him while Kaz winced. He rubbed at the spot where he had been injected, which ached slightly.
"Okay, lovebirds, have Argo teleport you up to the apartment, you both should be out cold within an hour and I don't need you passing out on my counter. Now shoo," Cas said, motioning with his hands while Argo sighed. The demon snapped his fingers, and Kaz and Vaughn were laying on Kaz's bed in the blink of an eye
Vaughn gave a confused look at the sudden new surroundings before remembering where they were. His cheeks flushed lightly as he remembered what they had done there just a few hours ago. He tried to will away the heat he was feeling as he leaned his head back against a pillow again.
Kaz made a small noise of surprise as they were teleported. "Well, that's convenient," he murmured, rolling so that he was facing Vaughn. "You doing okay?" he asked softly, trying to focus on one of the five Vaughns currently in his vision because of his broken glasses
Vaughn rolled onto his right side to face Kaz without hurting his arm. “I’m doing just as fine as I was before. Hopefully that stuff works,” he murmured. He squinted at Kaz, frowning slightly. He took Kaz’s glasses off, looking at the cracked lenses. “You shouldn’t wear these when they are broken. Glass could get in your eyes,” he said, putting them on a night stand.
"But now I can't see your pretty face," Kaz complained quietly. "Even if there were five pretty faces, they were still there." He rolled over a little so he could snuggle into Vaughn's chest, limbs already feeling heavy from the effects of Cas's magic
“You need to be resting right now,” Vaughn murmured with a light smile. He laid with Kaz, breathing out softly as he snuggled up in bed with the other. “Try and sleep.”
Kaz hummed in agreement, slinging an arm around Vaughn as he pressed his face into the crook of Vaughn's neck. He should be used to the effects of Cas's magic from how many times he'd had to deal with it, but it never failed to make him drowsy quickly
Vaughn felt more exhausted and tired than before. He allowed his eyes to shut, staying close to Kaz for the calming warmth that he provided. His fingers played with Kaz’s hair as he slowly drifted off.

Kaz woke up a few hours later, the damage done to his leg now nothing but a faint ache in his ankle. He hugged Vaughn closer to his chest, burying his face in the front of his shirt as he tried to will himself to go back to sleep
"That's nice." Luka didn't let go, burying his face into Axel's neck and his cute hair. He liked hugs. They always felt so secure, as if he wasn't going to slip away any second and fall asleep.
Axel nodded and leaned against Luka, a few stray curls falling across his face as he buried his head against his chest. He tugged on the drawstrings of his hoodie nervously, unsure of what to do. "This. . . this is nice."
Luka chuckled, "God, Axel, you sound so unsure." He leaned away, running his hand through Axel's hair and leaning closer again. His lips were only an inch away. "Is it really nice?"
"Y-yeah. . ." Axel nodded, stammering as he made sure to keep his mismatched eyes on Luka's gaze. He bit his bottom lip softly as he felt his face heat up when he realized the sheer proximity of the other boy.

Vaughn made a noise in his sleep, something like a mix between a hum and a whimper, at Kaz’s movement. He shifted what used to be his injured arm, now only feeling a bit sore and stiff. But now, he was able to drape that arm over Kaz’s body in a loose embrace. He woke up, being half asleep with his eyes barely open.
What do I do now? I need help. Where's cupid when you need him? "Food was nice, wasn't it?" Seriously, Luka, of all the things you could bring up, food? You big dingus. Axel's hair was soft. Almost like the ear of a Cocker Spaniel.
"Y-yeah, it was nice," Axel stammered, brushing a few stray strands of hair out of his face as he cleared his voice. He looked down and covered part of his face with his hoodie's sleeve in attempt to hide the blush on his cheeks.

Luka nodded, blush heating up his cheeks. "You're really cute, y'know? Like, so cute, you could stop time."
