ahem alright let's get back to business)

Gaia watched in horror as Ellen fought with the evil within her. She backed up, how can she help her, save her? Thoughts swirled about her mind like a microburst, the terror only increasing.

Seth gasped as Ellen—no, this wasn't Ellen, this was a psycho-demon— stabbed Ellis. She let out a yelp and kicked the demon away from Ellis. "SORRY ELLEN!" she yelled, hoping Ellen could hear. She knelt down by Ellis. "Captain, what should I do? I—I'm sorry, I don't know what to do!"

Mari stood up from the bed, bags already forming under her eyes. She tucked her hair behind her ears and sat down on the floor of Ellis' room, leaning against the bed. I can't get the feeling. . . of that demon. . . out of me. . .

"Don't pull the knife out for one." He was surprisingly calm for being stabbed by a demon. "I'll bleed out."

The demon landed with a thud. Ellen took this opportunity to fight more.
GET OUT OF ME!!!
The demon/Ellen screamed thrashing on the ground.
I'll kill you when I'm done with Ellis, b#tch
"NOOOOOOO!!!!" Ellen screamed, regaining enough control to slam her body against the wall.
GET OUT OF HERE YOU B#STARD

The world slowed down around Gaia as the knife was pushed into Ellis. He fell to the ground slowly, as if this was a video put on slow-motion.
Seth kicked Ellen away and knelt next to him. Adrenaline flowed through her and before she knew what she was doing, she launched herself at Ellen, who was against the wall and pinned her to the ground, throwing the knife away from her grasp.
"Get out of her, demon!" Gaia yelled, pulling stuff out of her pocket.
A salt packet from McDonald's ripped open in her grasp.
Salt!
She pried Ellen's mouth open, trying not to get her hands bitten off, and poured it in.

Conner drew the ward in the air again near Mariko "it's supposed to be a protective ward…"

Ellis chuckled, immediately regretting the decision to do so. "Okay. Carry me to my room if you can."

"Guys!" Gaia turned to the others. "I poured salt in her mouth, maybe the demon will leave now! And uh, is Ellen really twelve?"

The demon regained control, trying to fight as Gaia pinned Ellen's body to the ground. "NO!" The demon shrieked. Gaia poured the salt into Ellen's mouth. The demon screamed, writhing on the ground and eyes rolling back as it was forced from Ellen's body. Black mist poured out violently.

Seth nodded, watching as Gaia dumped the salt in Ellen's mouth. Seth hoisted Ellis into her arms. Funny. She thought he'd be heavier. She went down the hall as fast as she could, and kicked on the Ellis's bedroom door. "Guys, open the door!" she yelled.

conner opened the door "get inside!"

Mari scrambled up on the bed, eyes wide. "Is he okay? Ellis!"

The demon gave a strangled cry and slammed Ellen's head hard against the floor.
If I can't have your body, neither can YOU

"I got stabbed. So yes, I'm fine." Ellis grunted as he was laid onto the bed.

"Sorry, boss." Seth said. "Do we have a medical kit somewhere?" she asked. "I should probably know this already."

"Oh, do you need me to help?" Mariko offered, scratching her ear. I don't know how first-aid works, but humans can't be that different from machines? Right? A bead of sweat trickled down her forehead.

"Yeah you should. It's in the cockpit."

Gaia noticed Ellen banging her head against the floor. She grabbed her head and cushioned it with her hands. She poured another salt packet around her and Ellen. The mist receded.

The mist stopped pouring out of Ellen. She moaned weakly, barely conscious.

Seeing Ellen was okay, she frantically poured salt into her own mouth, cringing at the taste.
"Try me b#tch!" She yelled at the demon.

Seth nodded. "Yeah, I'll need help. I get kinda queasy around blood, since… a while ago." she said.
