“Then don’t try. Just let me lay on you or something while you relax,” Kaz suggested, shrugging his shoulders as he let himself relax into Vaughn’s hold

Vaughn smiled and kept a relaxed grip on Kaz. He tilted his head to kiss gently at Kaz’s cheekbone. “Alright… Let’s try to get comfortable.”

“C’mere,” Kaz said, rolling so he could sit up. He crawled over to the bed, flipping the covers back and crawling inside as he waited for Vaughn

Vaughn said up and scooted over so he was laying next to Kaz under the covers. He sighed softly, rolling over so he could wrap his arms around Kaz’s waist more easily.

Kaz smiled happily as Vaughn got into the bed with him, rolling onto his side so that he was nose to nose with him. “Love you,” he mumbled, pressing a soft kiss to Vaughn’s nose before wrapping his arms around him and snuggling into his chest

Those words again- ‘love you’. What did Vaughn feel? Was he supposed to feel anything? He had been in relationships before, but they were all meaningless and nothing like that had ever been said, really. He wasn’t sure if he could say it yet and really mean it, but he would if it would make Kaz happy. “Love you too,” He murmured softly.

Kaz smiled softly at Vaughn’s words. He knew he was probably just saying it because he did, but that was okay. He could live with Vaughn only half liking him, even if the dull, sad ache in his chest tried to tell him otherwise. He closed his eyes, willing himself to drift off

Vaughn pressed a gentle kiss to Kaz’s cheek, shutting his eyes tightly. He couldn’t fall asleep though. He was supposed to love Kaz. Why was it taking so long for him to start loving him? Something must be wrong with him.

Kaz yawned softly as he woke up, not bothering to open his eyes just yet. It took him a minute to realize where he was, a small smile crossing his lips as he realized Vaughn was still holding onto him

(Lmao, nah I feel you, if i was forced to wear all one pieces I’d be sooo annoyed. Maybe you can wear a bikini top and then high waisted bottoms, i have a pair of those and they are so convenient)

Vaughn shifted a bit as he slept, a light frown on his lips. He hadn’t taken his medication before sleeping like he was supposed to be doing, so he wasn’t feeling too good.

Kaz rolled so that he was nose-to-nose with Vaughn, the smile quickly turning to a soft frown. “Vaughn?” he asked softly, realizing the other boy seemed to be having some sort of nightmare

Vaughn’s grip noticeably tightened as his jaw clenched and his body tensed. He was reliving the accident, in the moment where he was running up the stairs with his sister. He could hear his mothers screams for them to run like it was actually happening. It all felt so real.

“Vaughn?” Kaz repeated softly, a hand moving to shake Vaughn’s shoulder gently. He knew there was a chance of him reacting badly to his touch, but it was the only thing he could think to do

Vaughn shifted a bit where he laid, gripping at Kaz’s shirt. He could see his dad now, coming up the stairs. He gripped his sister tightly, it was all he could do at the time. He felt a hand on him, and it felt even more real as his dad grabbed him by the shoulder. He knew what would come next.

Kaz took a deep breath as he saw Vaughn tense. He felt himself panicking a little, and before he knew what he was doing he was zapping Vaughn with a bit of static electricity

Vaughn flinched sharply, jerked awake from his dream. He gave a panicked noise, lashing out with a fist, accidentally striking Kaz harder than he should have been able to on the shoulder.

Kaz made a pained noise, recoiling sharply before falling off the bed. He hit the ground with a thud, wincing as he felt his head hit the carpet first. He laid there for a minute, wincing as he rubbed at his head. "Ow…" he muttered

Vaughn’s eyes widened in the slightest bit as he looked over with Kaz. He still had a panicked look in his eyes as he watched Kaz. “Fuck, oh my god, I'm so sorry. You shouldn’t grab me or anything like that when I’m sleeping.”

"Well, it's a good thing I've got a thick skull," Kaz chuckled, sitting up and rubbing at the side of his head. There was a small scratch from where he had knocked his head against the nightstand, but he was otherwise okay. He looked up at Vaughn sheepishly, fiddling absently with the end of his hoodie. "Sorry about waking you up."
