Darren was startled awake by the sound of his phone ringing on the bedside.

Lillian heard the ringing and groaned, "Who is it?"

Darren shrugged and crawled over to the phone, "It's Brody,"
"Hello?"

"Hey man, I need to talk to your girl."

"Lillian? Why?"

"Because I don't have her number so I had to call you to talk to her. Don't bother asking why I want to speak with her cause I'm not gonna tell you, just pass the damn phone,"

Lillian sat up and perked up at the mention of her name.

Darren rolled his eyes and held the phone out to Lillian, "Phone's for you, I guess."

Lillian took the phone and looked at him quizzically. She said, "Hello?"

"Hey beautiful, I have an idea to run past you."

Lillian rolled her eyes. A slight blush did rise on her face, "What is it?"

"I was thinking about throwing a benefit, a party of sorts. DO NOT say anything to Darren. You in?"

Lillian smiled, "I'm all in. When?"

"Tomorrow night work for you two?"

Darren stared at Lillian, he very badly wanted to know why his best friend was talking to Lillian and why she was blushing.

Lillian nodded, "Yeah."

"Sweet, can you meet me today at Maggiano's to help with planning and set up?"

Lillian thought for a second, "Sure, what time?"

"Noon. See you then babe," He hung up.

yawn "What is happening?" Belle leaned against the doorframe and rubbed her eyes of sleep.

Lillian hung up. She gave the phone back to Darren after she checked the time. Why did Brody call her babe? They weren't dating.

Darren took his phone and looked at Lillian curiously, "What was that about?"

"Seriously what is happening? Now that I'm finally not hungover I can process shit. What is going on."
