Warrenton came back down the stairs minutes later holding what looked to be a speaker, he set it up in the dining room and he pushed the table out of the way.

Lillian stepped back and watchex him. She had an idea where this was going.

He took his shoes off so he was in socks and walked over to Lillian, "Dace with me," He smiled. It didn't sound like a request.

Lillian smiled and took her shoes off. She was standing I her socks, "Of course."

He smiled, "Are we thinking some slow dancing or are we having a house party?"

Lillian shrugged as she looked up to him, "Whatever you want. I'm fine with either."

"You have an aversion to making decisions." He said grabbing her waist and pulling her in.

Lillian let out a small yelp as she was pulled in, "I haven't had the power to make decisions for long. Mother was pretty controlling."

Darren turned music on, "Makes sense," He said putting his face in her neck and his hands around her waist.

Lillian smiled as she placed her hands on his shoulders. And her face in the crook of his neck.

"You smell good," He smiled while swaying to the music.

Lillian laughed softly as her body swayed with the music, "So do you."

Darren held Lillian as close as he could humming along to the music with a smile imprinted on his face.

Lillian held Darren tightly as she hummed along with him. This was perfect.

"I have a bucket list," He said quietly out of nowhere.

Lillian looked at him, "What's on it?"

"See the northern lights," He began, "See the Chrysler building or the Eiffel tower at night," He kissed her neck gently, "To spend my forever with you,"

Lillian's body shuddered, "That sounds like a lot of traveling. And a pretty big commitment, I'll go with you wherever, forever."

"I'm not saying this to worry you it's just the truth," He sighed holding her a little tighter, "I don't know how much forever I have left."

Lillian held him close to her, "I know…. So when do we go?"

"I don't know," He sighed again, "I only know I want to do it with you,"

Lillian smiled and she buried her face into him, "You better not leave me behind."

"I'll try not to," He smiled, "I love you so much,"

Lillian smiled, "I love you too."

"Remember before our first date when I promised you someday we'd leave all this behind and forget?"

Lillian nodded, "Yeah. It gave me hope for the future."

"Then we'll go," He said promisingly.
