"Can't be mad at you for caring, can I?"

Lillian smiled, "No you really can't."

Darren rolled his eyes and leaned back in uncrossing his arms, "Why are you so god damn beautiful? You're hard to be mad at."

Lillian felt her cheeks heat up as she shrugged, "I was gifted with this natural beauty. How I use it is my business."

"Do you want my food or should I take it home?" He asked her.

Lillian looked at it, "Take it home. My food was more than enough."

He requested a box and packed his food up when the waitress came back. She handed him a bill and said she'd be back shortly.

"Are you ready to go then?" He asked searching for his wallet.

Lillian nodded, "Yeah. I'm ready."

He found his wallet and placed far more money that the bill could have possibly been, "Okay," He smiled, "Let us voyage on!"

Lillian stood up and smiled back, "Yeah!"

Darren got into the car and started it, "So home or do you have somewhere else in mind,"

Lillian shrugged, "Wherever."

"That doesn't help me," He said leaning over and kissing her on the cheek.

Lillian laughed as she smiled, "Let's go home."

"Homebound!" He said excitedly as he began to drive. He sang to the radio all the way home, he was happy for some reason.

Lillian smiled as she sang along with him. She was happy that he was happy. The voice couldn't get to her if she was happy.

When they arrived at Darren's house he put his food in the fridge and looked back at Lillian with a smile, "Whatever shall we do now?"

Lillian sighed as she smiled, "Oh I am woefully bored. Entertain me Darren."

"I'm not sure I'm set to entertain at this moment. This is all so sudden I'm simply not prepared," He held back a laugh as he stepped closer.

Lillian bit her cheek to stop her smile as she stepped towards him, "Oh but surely you'll think of something."

"Maybe. I have been pondering upon one thing in specific."

Lillian looked himin the eyes, "And what is that?"

He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her as he picked her up in the air. He put her back down, "Be entertained by that, I'll be right back," He said running up the stairs.

Lillian smiled and waited for Darren to return. A blissfulness passed over her.
