"Alright then," Mitsig smiled. He glanced at all the others. "I-if I were you, I'd start working on a time machine. A-as a fail safe."

(It seems as though Yuki is the only one who actually believes him)

Yuki looked at her companions, "Sure. We can brainstorm right now if you guys want… to…" She didn't think they wanted to.

River nodded, "I'll help."

She brightened, "Awesome! So, what were you thinking of? You know, for ideas."

"Maybe we could come with something that transfers are consciousness," River thought in his brainstorm, "O-or something that created clones that we could send for us?"

"I think consciousness would be a fail safe."Carmen cut it. "Cloning is complicated, and it would be a baby at first anyway."

Yuki nodded, "That could work. After all, it seems now anything is possible. I can start making possible designs." She glanced at Mitsig, "Unless there is a specific we have to go by?"

"I know l-less than you guys ab-about this." He shrugged.

"Well, that leaves our options open then."

"But then how- never mind, papi." ((Sorry I just see her calling anyone yonger than her mami or pai AND IT WONT LET ME DO THE THING))

Ellen sat down, pondering their options.

Yuki rapped her knuckles against the table, eyebrows furrowed in worry. How could they do this without everyone participating though?

(( not really sure what Maximus is meant to be doing rn so imma make something up ))

Maximus got up and adjusted his prosthetic. He decided that he was a bit peckish so he decided to make a cup of coffee and eat a blueberry muffin.

Looking at Liam and Isadora, she pleaded, "We need your help. Can we count on you two?"

(Main villain eating blueberry muffin in his first entrance - not something you expected)

(what can I say - he's a hungry guy xD )

"Yeah ok." Isadora agreed. "But… that doesn't mean I trust you completely. We clear on that?"

After his muffin, Maximus decided to check up on the progress of his latest invention: a time machine. If the results from his most recent test were satisfactory he would be able to launch it to the public in a couple of weeks. His chance to prove everyone wrong was near, and if all went well and he saved himself from the crash… Well, nothing would stand against him ever again.

"If you're that desperate, then fine I'll help. But you have to understand that I'm not going to have fun while doing so." Liam pouted.

Yuki closed her eyes, before opening them once more, "Then what are we waiting for?"

Maximus grinned like a birthday boy, the results had come back better than expected. He decided that because he wanted to stick to his original schedule of releasing the time machine in two weeks, he could at least make it look better. He wasn't the best at arts so he definitely had some research of cool designs ahead of him.

Mitsig watched as the team of scientist started to work. He had no idea what this future had in store. It could still follow the time line he was accustomed to…or it could change entirely. The idea that they could actually change things suddenly hit him. Maybe he'd never see his family again. But he could rest easy knowing that he'd saved the whole damn world.

"Well, we'll need something to conceal us, so no one calls 911 thinking we're dead. And a base." She started to ramble

"A base?" She asked.
