Shey led him into the woods making sure to steer clear of Ariene and Lucky.

-Ariene runs and catches up to Lucky, picking him up before he ran any farther. He must have been scared off something. She quickly, still holding Lucky, ran back to where Shey and Michael were.-

Samiel sat against a tree, clutching her twisted foot. A girl was approaching her, and was looking quite shocked.
"Are you okay? what are you doing in the middle of the woods?" She said. Sami didn't know who she was or where she came from. Why would this random girl be interested in her?
"Did you, survive the fire?"

-When Ariene finally got back to where Shey and Michael were, no one was there- "Darn them all." She said extremely frustrated. "Lucky, Find Shey." She said, making Lucky smell Shey's knife, which Ariene still had.

"Yes." Sami answered the girl apprehensively. "This isn't from the fire, though." She said, gesturing to her foot. "I was born with this."
The girl walked closer to her. "What's your name?"
"Sami." Samiel said, trying to stand, using the tree as leverage. "What's yours?"

The man maintains a safe distance from shey not trusting her.

"Oh, hi, Sami." Kira looked down at her weirdly. "Um, nice to, uh, meet you." She tried (and failed) to smile.

"Amber." The girl said.
"You haven't by any chance seen a boy named Michael around here have you?" Amber asked.
"No. Sorry. I did see a weird guy run past though. He was wearing gold armor. I don't know if that helps." Sami told them, picking up a large stick off the ground and leaned heavily on it, and pushed her hair out of her eyes. "He also dropped this." She took a small silver knife out of her waistband, next to a different knife, and held it out to them.

"I know I wont be of much use to you guys, but I know how to use a knife pretty well and I'd love to help you find your friend." Sami offered.

Kira gasped when she saw the knife. "Amber, we need to go now." (michael, i think, is maybe too injured to go anywhere?)

"Is your friend hurt? Can I come with?" Samiel was not to keen on being left behind again. The group she had survived the fire with had ditched her because of her foot, even though with the help crutches she can move just as fast as anybody else. Instead they took her crutches and left her to die.

Sami hoisted up another stick and put herself in a position to move. She looked at Kira and Amber, determined to not screw up a chance at making friends, and helping to save a life, and it sounded like Michael was in some deep doodoo.

Kira hated to do it, but if she had to act as a human crutch for Sami in order to get out of the forest faster, so be it. "Come on," she said through gritted teeth. "Let's go."

"Thank you." Sami nodded and followed them as they rushed east. She could tell that the girl Kira didn't like her very much, but she was determined. She could also tell that both Kira and Amber were surprised with how fast she actually could move when she wanted to.

-After a while of searching, Lucky stumbled upon Michael again, who was unconscious.- "There you are! "Ariene said, picking him up and carrying back to where everyone was supposed to meet up just about now.

Shey would have to be found later, Ariene thought. Michael was in too bad a condition to just leave there.
