“Finally! My head was starting to hurt.” Aster pulled himself up and steadied himself.

“Lucky for you, since I’m such a nerd, I carry around a chess set with me.” Jasper said, “Would you like to learn up here or down there?”

“Wherever.” Aster shrugged, “Since you’re the chess master, you choose.”

“I’m teaching you, you choose.”

“I’m indecisive, you choose.”

“I’m the most indecisive, you choose.”

“I wont get you a salad unless you choose.”

“… how did you…” Jasper asked, looking very surprised, “…know that…”

“Everyone wants an Aster-made salad!” Aster folded his arms.

“Not everyone.”

“Yes, everyone,” Aster defended, “some people just don’t know it yet.”

Jasper sighed in defeat, “I’ll choose.”

“Thank you!” Aster beamed.

“We’re going down.”

“Ok!” Aster slid off the monkey bars. He landed on his feet and waited for Jasper.

Jasper grumbled a little before making his way down. “I’m alive!”

“What a miracle!” Aster giggled.

“I am a miracle.” Jasper smirked, taking his backpack and opening it.

Aster laughed, “Yup!” He watched as Jasper took the case out.

“Ta da. This is a chessboard.” Jasper said, putting his chessboard on the floor. “Do you know how to set the board?”

“Uh, all I know is the small ones go here, right?” Aster indicated the second row on the chessboard.

“Yes! I got something right for once!” Aster fist pumped, “So, what about all the other pieces?”

“These are rooks.” Jasper said, holding up two pieces, “And they go over here.” He placed them at the ends of the chest board.
