Thorn listened for a second, as well as she could with her obnoxious heartbeat. She spoke, "Yeah. We should get going."
"Cool. I gotta run by my room to grab my phone, then we'll head out," she said, heading for the door. "This is going to be great."
Thorn nodded, she put on her mask and sunglasses, "Yeah. Meet back here?"
Vaughn’s breath caught in his throat as he sat completely still. His hands clenched in his lap, feeling conflicted. On one hand, he did want something to happen. On the other hand, he wanted to nudge Kaz away from him. He didn’t say anything, though. Didn’t tell Kaz to stop.
"Yeah, right outside your room," she said as she walked out the door. She headed down the hall and back on an elevator to her floor. Stepping into her room, she located her phone and wallet. She swiped on some lipstick from her makeup bag (kiss-proof, the tube read) and then hesitated. She still had plenty of pills left. Creativity, Happiness, Excitement… Eh, why not. She grabbed one of the Happiness pills and took it before leaving. She headed back towards room 114.
Kaz pulled back a little, just enough to take in how flustered Vaughn was. He was almost proud that it was him who had made him so flustered. He felt the urge to do more, and in his buzzed state he couldn’t seem to stop himself before he was pressing his lips to Vaughn’s gently
thorn wouldn't lie, she freaked out the moment Lana left. She was going on a date. She was breaking out for the night. Just everything! She took a deep breath and put her hand on the doorknob. She hesitated before opening the door.
"More like the ghosts of children who never left the hospital." Luka looked down, feeling a bit sad. "It sucks, doesn't it? Pandora and her stupid jar."
"Yeah, Pandora was kind of shitty," Axel sighed, putting his hands on the metal wheels of his chair so he could move in time with Luka.
Lana rounded the corner and spotted Thorn waiting for her outside the room. She waved, smiling. "Okay, so it's about 6:40. Let's go!" she said excitedly.
Thorn nodded, she smiled, "Yeah! This is going to be great."
Lana led the way down the hall. "Alright, so I figured out that the exit closest to the cafeteria is on the left wing of the hospital. It should take us a few minutes to get there, so we have to hurry."
Thorn followed after, she stuck close to the wall away from the windows, "Got it. Let's go then!"

Kaz pulled back a little, just enough to take in how flustered Vaughn was. He was almost proud that it was him who had made him so flustered. He felt the urge to do more, and in his buzzed state he couldn’t seem to stop himself before he was pressing his lips to Vaughn’s gently
Vaughn gasped softly against Kaz’s lips in pure disbelief. Was Kaz seriously kissing him?! Not that he was complaining, Kaz’s lips felt very soft. After the shock set in, he finally moved his lips along with Kaz’s as he returned the kiss.
Kaz laughed a little against Vaughn’s lips, smiling as he kissed him for a moment longer. He eventually broke away, slightly breathless as he gave Vaughn his widest smile. “First kiss in a bar, huh? That’s pretty romantic,” he chuckled
"I wonder how long it'll take for the staff to notice we're gone," Lana wondered aloud, still grinning. "They'll freak out."
Thorn grinned, "Yeah they will. The cafeteria's coming up soon."
"Alright, you lead the way now," Lana requested. "I'm about to get lost. Hospitals are so confusing."
The corners of Vaughn’s lips quirked up to form a timid smile. He shrugged a bit, glancing away out of pure embarrassment. “I guess it was okay,” he murmured, posture slouched.
Thorn stepped ahead of Lana. She walked into the cafeteria and looked around she walked away from the sunlight.
(Gtg for a few hours)
"Okay, let's find someplace to hide."
(Bye.)
Thorn spotted a closet. She grabbed Lana's hand and dragged her over to it, "Let's hide in here."
Luka tapped his chin in thought. "I wonder where Marlo is right now. She seemed nice."
They slipped into the closet together. It was a tight squeeze, but not too uncomfortable. Lana stood against the wall of the closet. "Okay, we just have to wait until the sun sets."
The corners of Vaughn’s lips quirked up to form a timid smile. He shrugged a bit, glancing away out of pure embarrassment. “I guess it was okay,” he murmured, posture slouched.
Kaz laughed a little. "Would, um. Would you like to maybe do that again?" he asked. "I mean, um, it was kind of nice and all," he stammered
Thorn nodded and stood against the same side, "Okay. That won't be long. Will it?"
"I don't know," Lana admitted. "Hopefully. Wanna listen to music on my phone or something?"
Thorn nodded, "Yeah play something new."
"Okay," she said. "How about the Hamilton soundtrack? It's long, but we can at least listen to part of it."
Vaughn bit at his lower lip, mind buzzing with thoughts as he nodded a tad. He got up, slipping into Kaz’s side of the booth just to make it easier. He rested a hand on Kaz’s cheek, caressing at his skin softly before pressing their lips together.
Kaz smiled softly, a hand moving to Vaughn's waist as they kissed. He moved his lips with Vaughn's gently, enjoying the way the intimacy felt. This somehow felt different, not like a one night stand, but like…he cared? He wasn't sure what he was feeling, but he wasn't complaining
