Duke set his jaw. "Oh yes you are going to tell me your name."

“Mhmm,” Victoria muttered. “Sure. And give away any private info you want to steal. Of course.”

Cicada snuck around the back so she was behind the intruder, "You better. Or else it won't be very pretty."

“I’ve never seen beauty,” Victoria shrugged. “So that wont be a problem.”

Duke took a step closer. "Listen, Cicada will not hesitate to cut a bitch so you better spill it."

Cicada grinned and played with her knife, "It's been awhile, but I'm sure I can make her look real nice. Painted with her blood of course."

“Pain is an old friend,” Victoria smiled. “And I’ve never looked nice. Feel free to try, but nothing can save this face.” She gestured to her own.

Duke let his boss facade slip. "Aw man I think you look pretty nice…."

“Congrats,” Victoria said. “You’re the first.”

Duke blinked, just realizing what he had said. "I mean….NOW YOU'LL LOOK EVEN WORSE!"

Cicada looked at the girl, "You do look pretty nice. A lot better than some rich girls I've seen."

“Mhmm,” Victoria repeated, holding back a smile. “I’m not rich, for the record.”

Duke cleared his throat uncomfortably. "You gotta tell us your name dude."

Cicada rolled her eyes, "Yeah I figured. You have nothing valuable on you."

She stepped back, "She's clear boss."

“Why?” Victoria asked, blinking innocently.

"I gotta put it on the hit list of course!" He said, gesturing with his knife.

“I’m already here,” Victoria scoffed. “If you’re going to hurt me, hurry up.”

Duke rubbed his temples. "That's not how this works. We have to put your name on the list first so I can compare my record of kills with the other gang leaders."

“You put it on the list after you’ve killed me or whatever, and then check it off. Nobody will know,” Victoria said with an air of one guiding a child. “Not that hard.”
