"Uh…yes?" Ender squeaked, his poor brain still confused.

Venus smiled comfortingly. She hopped on to her tiptoes and kissed him gently. She pulled away and looked into his eyes. "Don't be nervous. I'll help you."

"Okay…" Ender whispered. The kiss had set his rather dazed and confused mind spinning. "Tell me what to do."

Venus rolled her eyes and sighed, but giggled all the same. "I did, Silly. Okay, we'll take this slow. Step forward."

Ender stepped forward. MISTAKE! The sirens blared in his head. Shut up I'm not doing anything wrong….

"Alright. Now step with your right foot to the right. And slide your left foot over to meet it."

Ender took a deep breath and did as he was instructed. "Is that right?"

Venus nodded. "Alright. Step back. This is the "box step" waltz."

"Oh, really? Of what kind?" Blaine questioned, her eyes flashing.

Brendon shrugged. He honestly wasn't expecting her to ask, "I don't know. What do you think?"

"Okay. Box Step. Got it."

Blaine laughed. "Well, you're driving, otherwise I'd show you," she answered teasingly.

Brendon's face turned a deep red. Yep, that happened. He stammered, "M-maybe later?"

"Mm, sure. Later," Blaine replied with a smirk. She turned her attention back to the road and noticed that they were almost there.

Brendon pulled into the parking lot. He parked the car before getting out and opened the door for Blaine, "And we're here!"

Blaine grinned. "Yay, food and coffee!" she exclaimed, getting out of the vehicle.

Brendon smiled and laughed, "Yeah! Food and coffee!"

Jane sat on her bed at home, making no noise and pretending she didn’t exist. She flipped the page if the book she was rereading for the fourth time, trying really hard to actually read the words.

"Okay. Box Step. Got it."

"Good," Venus replied as Ender stepped back, allowing her to step forward. Now, step with your left foot and slide your right foot over to meet it. See? You step in a box. Hense the name, Box Step."

Ender blushed, but kept smiling. "Who taught you how to dance?"

"Many people," Venus avoided his gaze. "Start on three?"

"Sure." Ender sensed he had hit a sensitive subject. He took a deep breath, wishing for the security of the corner of the dance floor.
