Cato glanced at Valerie before stepping outside, the black haired girl standing up. “I’m afraid I can’t be impartial, praetor,” she said politely before leaving.

“It’s too harsh. Cato has been with us for seven years, he’s a veteran and has offered us too much to just exile him!” Someone else shouted.

Reyna sighed, “If you agree on exile, raise your hand.”

After counting, Reyna sighed again, “Call Mr. Flavius back in please.”

Someone ran out to get him and he slowly walked back in as Valerie made her way back to her seat.

“As a representative for the jury, I, Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano, sentence Cato Flavius to exile.”

Sage felt like crying. No no no.

Valerie looked upset but resigned, and she leaned back to stare at the ceiling when she got to her seat.

Cato nodded, accepting the punishment. “And when do I have to be gone, praetor?”

Sage gave Arianna a half smile. At least her name was cleared, even if Cato had been exiled.

Reyna looked at her imaginary watch, “In an hour. Arianna, meet me in the meeting room.” She banged her gavel, “Court adjourned.

Arianna smiled weakly at Sage and stood up.

Sage immediately raced over to Ari.

Arianna spread her arms out for a hug.

Sage let Arianna's arms envelop him. "Outrighted you." He said.

“Of course you did…” Arianna chuckled weakly.

The smell of Ari's hair was rather distracting. "Your name is cleared." Sage felt bad for Val and Cato, but he couldn't stop a massive grin spread over his face.

“It is…” Arianna smiled, but she felt bad for Cato. He’s comfy. Arianna rested her chin on his shoulder.

Sage placed a hand in Ari's hair and pulled her closer, hugged her tighter. "You're not getting away from me today. Or ever."

"Good." Sage didn't want to let go of Ari, but he figured he should go over and check on Cato and Valerie. Sage disentangled himself from Arianna's arms and took her hand. "I'm going to talk to Cato and Val. You want to come with?"

“I have to go talk to Reyna first… and then we have to pack.. to leave.”

It hit Sage then, that they would be leaving Camp Jupiter. His first proper home.
"Yeah, I'll come over to talk to Reyna with you, then I might go check on Cato and Val. Then… packing I guess."

“Yeah..” Arianna said, she felt uneasy, leaving Camp Jupiter was.. it was going to be weird. “Let’s go.”
