Kat doesn't reply, but smoke starts to pour out of the holes, smoke that looks like it would suffocate her.

Luna removed the rock structure, smirking smugly.

She didn't expect Kat to be a living, breathing fire creature. Her skin radiates heat, her hair is fire that is flowing upwards and her eyes burn with lava.

Luna shot a tidal wave level of water onto Kat. "My work here is done." she said, waving a stick around in the air.

Nothing happens. Kat stays how she was. "My fire can't be put out," She says, in a voice that doesn't sound entirely her own. "I am going to take back my kingdom."

"Calm down love, it isn't that easy to get revenge. There really isn't a lot of money in the revenge business either way."

Kat keeps moving. Fawkes barks suddenly, and Kat is snapped out of her 'fire trance'.

"Okay, love. Let's just take a break." Luna said.

"What just happened?"

"You turned into a lava monster, sweetie. You need some rest, magic like that takes a lot out of you."

"But…I feel fine. I actually feel more energised."

"Yeah, it's the rush right afterwards. Then you'll most likely pass out." Luna said. "Here, let me help you lie down."

"No," Kat says, and her eyes flash. "I'm fine. I'm not a child. I'm the queen."

"Yes, you are a child. You've been burdened with to much responsibility."

"I'm 18. I count as an adult. In fact, I'm 19 in about a week. I can fend for myself."

"Yes, you can, but right now you need rest, not dueling "

"I don't need to rest. I'm perfectly fine."

"It's night either way. Sleep. Now." she said.

"You're my bodyguard, not my mum."

"Same difference."

"No. MY answer is FINAL."

"Oh, yes, obviously I should listen to a little girl who can turn into a rage monster whenever they feel like it."

"That's not why you should listen to me. I am your QUEEN."

"Nope, you aren't anyone's queen. Your uncle has taken the throne, don't you see?"

"Fine. Then I'm the RIGHTFUL queen," Kat retorts, then realises something. "I thought you said that you didn't know who overthrew my parents."

"He took the throne because you left. But you leaving was the only way to save your life."

"Well…..maybe it would've been better if I had died."

"No, because he would have had the throne ensured to him with your death. Now we have a fighting chance "

"Well…..AH!" Kat screams, falling to the ground and clutching her head. Pictures flash before her eyes, one after the other, not stopping. And then suddenly they do.

"See, rest." Luna said.
