The Longest Wave
Lydia started blankly at the scene that played out in front of her, she rolled her eyes and noticed someone sitting in the corner alone. She wanted to talk to them, but couldn't find the motivation to make friends today.

"What, you think we're dangerous?" Lana questioned, smiling.
(hold on I'm in the middle of a strange argument)
Luka stood up, brushing himself off. "That was the worst way to introduce myself to all of you guys. Forget this ever happened?" He cracked a smile.
"I'll attempt to erase it from my mind," Axel commented, leaning back against his wheelchair. "Too bad you guys didn't get to see me walk by myself on this bad boy. I would have been on the ground too." He said, motioning to his prosthetic as he chuckled lightly.
"And I would've helped you up. Name? Mine's Luka. Nice to meet you." Maybe this support group wasn't as bad as an idea than he thought.
(oki den)
Thorn was in the corner. Trying to avoid the others.
(lol, there's 3 people in 3 corners. ONLY ONE CORNER IS FREE)

"Axel. Nice to meet you too," He answered, glancing around at the rest of the people in the room. They each had their own specialty, like Luca had phrased it. Crutches, wheelchairs, medicine, or even blank stares.
(I'm actually going to change Axel's thing to him having osteosarcoma cancer, so that's why he lost a leg.)
(i'd talk to Thorn and Miles but idk how to be social rn, also my friends are talking about a wedding and calling me their son, im confused)
(lol, gg. I'm gonna force Miles to me social then)
Miles got bored and decided to go into the group and quietly watched what was happening.
"What, you think we're dangerous?" Lana questioned, smiling.
"I know that every time I have been to group since I've been here, there has been at least one staff member present." Blake stared into Lana's dilated pupils, "What makes this time different?"
"Nice to meet me? Really? Aw. That's sweet." Luka bowed with a flourish of his hand. "It's just swell to meet you too, my good sir."

"Maybe the nurses are trying to murder us without anyone around," Axel commented, a joking tone to his voice as he shrugged in addition to his response. "Maybe we pissed them off for the last time."
"Or maybe they're starting to trust us?" Lana said, a bit amused.

"Oh, good sir. I like it," Axel answered, a rare smile lighting up his features and maybe even a faint blush trailing across his cheeks.

Blake tilted his head as he studied Axel's face, trying to decipher his tone. "Is that what you want?"
Luka stood up straight, giving Axel a wink. "I've never met someone I can't charm."
"Or maybe they're starting to trust us?" Lana said, a bit amused.
"That's a good thing, right?" He asked, looking at Lana.
Lana shrugged. "Depends. Do we deserve their trust?"
Luka stood up straight, giving Axel a wink. "I've never met someone I can't charm."
"Are you really charming me, though?" Axel questioned, raising a brow as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"To get murdered? No, I'd love to live a little longer." Axel replied, flashing a quick smile at the boy.
Luka shrugged. "I don't know. Give it time. I'm 98% sure that my falling asleep at random times will win you over at one point." His voice was like sandpaper.
Lydia started into space, her chin resting in her palm, her elbow propped up on the arm of the chair, she was actually starting to get bored with this.
Lana shrugged. "Depends. Do we deserve their trust?"
"Of course we do. They deal with us every day."
(I guess I'm everyone's child so I have that going on, I'm confused)
Blake looked around the room. "Who has a hairpin? I am going to try to pick the lock."
Luka shrugged. "I don't know. Give it time. I'm 98% sure that my falling asleep at random times will win you over at one point." His voice was like sandpaper.
"Uh huh," Axel nodded slowly, studying Luka quietly. "Falling over can be extremely attractive, you know."
Lana shrugged. "Depends. Do we deserve their trust?"
"Of course we do. They deal with us every day."
She yawned. "I guess. I'm Lana, by the way. New here. You are?"
"Really?" His face lit up. "Anyway, how long does this support group last?"
