Blaine paced in front of her closet. What to wear, what to wear? With a groan, she collapsed onto her bed, laying on her back. Maybe one of her friends would help her. She grabbed her phone from the nightstand and tried to decide who to call.

Brendon looked through is closet. He had nothing nice! He should have gone out and bought something. With a sigh he glanced at the floor. Suddenly he had an idea and grinned. He rummaged through his closet finding all the different pieces.

Blaine gave up trying to figure out who to call and instead walked back over to her closet. She stared at it for a moment, before she saw something she liked. With a smile, she pulled it out and held it up to herself, smiling a bit as she glanced at her reflection in her full-length mirror. This would do nicely! Now, for the rest of her outit…

Brendon looked at the outfit all it together on his bed. He only worn it once before, and that was for a party he was dragged to. Well time to put it to better use. He put it on and looked at himself in the mirror. The outfit on him looked great. Now to deal with his hair, ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Boots! Nice boots would be cute with her dress!

Blaine smiled as she rifled through her shoes. Ugh, why did she have so many? She didn't even wear half of them!

Finding the ones she wanted, she pulled them out and set them next to her bed, under the dress she had laid on the bed. Turning to her dresser, she decided to wear a simple, black choker necklace and simple, gold, leaf-shaped earrings. She hoped that it wasn't all too much.

Finally, she was finished finding everything she wanted to wear, and she quickly changed into it and hurried downstairs.

Brendon stood slightly nervously in front of Blaine's house. He fussed with his hair. He had let his hair down and it just sort of laid there. It felt weird. He was wearing a red button down shirt, the top button was unbuttoned and a black dress vest buttoned in the middle. He was wearing skinny jeans and dress shoes. He hoped it was okay for Blaine. He really hoped he didn't overdress. Wait… He planned the thing. He couldn't have.

"Blaine, there's a boy standing at the front door," Blaine's grandmother called to her from the front entryway. Blaine jumped off the couch and dashed over, quickly checking her makeup with her phone's camera before she grinned at her grandma and opened the door.

"Brendon! Hey," she greeted him with controlled calmness. No need to freak him out with how excited she was. Her gaze flicked over him quickly, taking in his look. "You look nice."

Brendon looked at her. He wondered how in the world she was so calm. He could feel his heart absolutely pounding. It didn't help that he knew she was beautiful, but this was a whole different level. His face was red as he stammered out, "Y-you look gorgeous. I mean nice too. Yeah."
