I learned yesterday

Flit yelps and looks warily at Loki from atop Grace's head. Grace giggles. "I know you wouldn't do that Loki."

"No, he wouldn't. I think he's just trying to scare Flit."

Lata continued walking, Haiku pulling on her hair. "Would you stop that?" she snapped at him, glaring. The spirit animal gave one last yank before saying, "Then please hurry, I don't want to be giant cat food."
Lata snickered at him and began walking slower. In turn, the red panda began to pull again. Wincing, she picked up the pace once again. "Jeez, you're demanding," she muttered.

"Looks like he found her weakness." A light laugh from Grace and a whimper from Flit.

"Let's go to school," Charlie says.
"Do we HAVE to?" Loki asks.
"I swear I will lock you in the house and let Scout deal with you when dad gets home." Loki pipes down after that.

(Scout is Charlie's dad's spirit animal, who also happens to be a lion. Loki's a little scared of him. Loki's still fairly young compared to Scout)

Grace skipped along towards the school, Flit had reluctantly gotten off her head and was now zipping around the many flowers that lined the sidewalk.

Jenny kept her eyes on the eagle at all times. "Stop staring at me while I dress!" she yelled at it.

"I'm not staring at you. Chill my girlfrannn!" the eagle said, nesting upon the bed. Jenny decided screaming would be appropriate now. She screamed. "WHATTHEFRICKITTALKSTHISISCRAZY!" she yelled, falling over from surprise.

"Ready for school cara?" Ben asked, grabbing an aple as he walked out the door.

"How long is the school day again?" Loki complains as they reach the school.
"You know full well how long it is."

"G-girlfriend? Um…. my virgin mind is starting to feel uncomfortable." Jenny said.

The eagle sighed. "Must I explain this to you?" it, well she I guess, said. Jenny nodded. She had no idea what was going on and why there was a bird in her bedroom.

"Listen, I am your spirit animal. Literally an extension of your physical self. I can talk and have no need to eat, though I do enjoy bananas. Bananas are good. And I am your constant companion. Sort of like a guardian angel but with less morals. Or your conscience, but also without morals. You can give me a name or I can give me a name, you pick. That explain everything well enough for you?" she asked, pecking at her wing. Jenny stared, wide eyed. She had to be dreaming.

Cara hissed at Ben, "Sure!"
