"No, I can't afford to lose you," Paige insisted, putting her hands on top of his.

"Fine. I love you Paige." Stormy said and kissed her before taking her hand and slowly walking up to the house.

"I love you, Stormy," Paige whispered, following him through the doorway. She heard a crash in the basement and grabbed Stormy's arm.

"Ok ok ok. Um its ok. Talia?!" Stormy yelled gripping Paige's hand tightly.

"Talia?" Paige whisper repeated. She'd never been more afraid, yet so comforted.
Footsteps up the stairs. "Who's there?" The shaken voice of a broken woman.
"Tali?" Paige ran to her sister and hugged her.
"Paige? Leave! Leave now!" Talia pushed her away.
"No, I came back for you and Mom," Paige said firmly.
"No, leave!" Talia pushed Paige again, this time towards the door.

Stormy watched Paige embrace her sister. "You should come Talia and bring your mom." He said.

"We can't leave," Talia insisted. Rough footsteps were coming up the stairs. "Leave!" Talia yelled, shoving Paige and Stormy towards the door.

Stormy stumbled back and hid behind the doorway listening with Paige. "We're gonna get them out ok?" He told Paige.

Paige nodded. There were silent tears glistening in her eyes.

Stormy held her tight as he waited.

Indistinct voices came from inside. Talia shouted something. A thud. A gruff demand. Two pairs of footsteps quickly descending. Paige breathed.
