He thought for a moment. "I don't want to resort to that," he said to himself.

"The bathroom ;-;"

Alex snickered. "That will work. Its fine." She adjusted somethings and the googles before pushing him into the bathroom and closed the door behind them. "Alright it should take a few seconds for it to adjust. So what do you see?" She asked.

(These are thermal goggles, you're suppose to see colors which represent heat signitures that give off heat. If there is heat, that means something is alive, if its blue then that means non-living things.)

Milo looked around, taking in everything for a few moments. "There- it- well, it's…colorful? There's a lot of…blue but there's also some orange..and red. I think that's the spiders? It's weird." He opened the door, and handed the googles back to Alex. (Better?)

Alex silently cheered in her mind. "Well, thats a good thing because that means its working." She replied proudly and tucked the googles into her pack. "So wheres the project!" She asked.

"Over theeeeeeere." Milo walked to a table with (PROJECT) spread out on it. (I don't know what project so, shall we time skip?)

TIME SKIP TO EVENING
Milo packed the project up. "Thanks for helping, again, Alex." He laughed. "See you tomorrow or somethin'. You'll be at the Wishing Well?"

Alex shrugged. "I guess unless I'm not working on my other projects. I'm pretty sure my mom is despising the mess in my room." She gave a small laugh.

"Yeah. Anyways, see you tomorrow, or not." Milo shifted the project into a neater shape and walked home (not too far!). He dropped it off then met Amber.

After hanging out for a bit, he returned home and checked his messages. He'd gotten a text, and a text from-

Alex waved her goodbye and walked back home again with her pack. She climbed the tree and landed in her little messy room.
