Lillian looked up at him, "Yep, you're like a big old teddy bear. Except better! Because you're warm."
Lillian looked up at him, "Yep, you're like a big old teddy bear. Except better! Because you're warm."
Darren laughed and put his face in her neck.
"People are mean arent they?" Ben asked loyd.
Lillian held Darren tighter. She was a bit breathless at the moment. Her eyes fluttering between open and shut.
Darren hummed a song into her neck softly, waiting for her breathing to even out indicating sleep.
Lillian eventually gave into sleep. She had faint smile on her face.
Darren stopped humming when he heard Lillian had fallen asleep and eventually he fell asleep too. They slept like that for a long time until Darren was jolted awake by the sound of the front door opening and slamming shut. Dad?
Lillian was sick enough that her normal tendency to wake at the slightest of sounds, failed her. She continued to sleep.
"I know, right?" Lloyd shook his head, seemingly disappointed in the wall's rude behavior. "I thought you were better than this." He said to the wall again. "There is no blood in my alcohol system. I mean… I dunno what I mean…"
Before Darren could get up his father was already in the room questioning him. "Hey, son what are you doing up? The wait is that- what the hell are you doing?"
"Dad, shhh, she's sleeping. She's sick" He said rolling off of Lillian and standing up to greet his dad.
"Who the hell is this? She better not be the reason you skip practice or I'll beat you boy." His father threatened as he stepped closer to Darren.
Lillian muttered something that sounded an awful lot like 'fuck off' in her sleep.
Darren's dad turned his attention to Lillian on the couch, Darren thought he smelt alcohol on his father's breath.
"What did she just say to me?" He half yelled inching closer to Lillian.
"LEAVE HER ALONE! PLEASE DAD, DON'T!" Darren screamed knowing very well what he was capable of.
Okay she lied, she had been awake from the start. Lillian half opened her eye, staring the man in the eye. She said slightly clearer, "I said fuck off."
(Lmaooo)
(Sick Lillian has never given any shits. Most of her scars come from when she was sick and filled with confidence.)
(Lol, That's wonderful…. Im dying)
(NOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY ARE YOU DYING?!)
"You don't talk to me like that." Jon stumbled forward and smacked Lillian.
"Dad stop she's sick, she doesn't know what she's doing just don't do this," Darren yelled but didn't move to be Lillian's hero this time.
Jon Anderson turned to his son and shook his head, "Your mother wouldn't stand for this and you know it. I'm teaching her respect!"
(Brb)
(okay)
(NOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY ARE YOU DYING?!)
(From laughter)
Lillian rubbed her cheek before slowly sitting up. Her eyes were filled with fire, "The fuck did you just say? His mother? Your wife? Would approve of you slapping me? Of pushing your thoughts and stereotypes onto your son?" she sneezed and coughed, "Because I don't think she would. You mother fucker."
(Okay. Good. That's good. Lillian being confident is such a good thing.)
(OOOOOOOOO WRECKED)
(GET BURNED!)
Jon stumbled back, confused and unsure of what to do so he walked over to Darren, "You don't even care do you?" He pushed Darren, "She's gone and you don't even give a shit. You selfish boy!" He punched Darren in the jaw and in the stomach causing Darren to hit the wall and fall near lifeless to the floor. His father went up the stairs and the sound of his bedroom door slamming was clear throughout the house.
(lol)
Lillian moved as fast as her body could over to Darren. She gently shook him, "Darren? Are you okay?"
Darren groaned because that's all he could manage at the moment.
She sneezed, "At least your alive. Can you stand?"
