Millie and Ceaser get to the dorms. "Ceaser honey, I think we should move somewhere…. I mean my dad has a lot of money… and they know where we live now… it just seems like a good idea and we'd be more safe." Millie says, short-breathed

"What can we do? We barely have a lead," Quill said, sighing.

"Well, i suspect Millie and Ceaser very highly of it. The other girl must have been associated with them."

"Perhaps. But why? What could possibly be their motivation? If they did kill that girl, what could possibly be their reasoning?"

"That's true, I have no clue about that. Sage, Mani, and I were going to interrogate some people who were in the same college as the girl, but then we got caught up in that mall attack."

Dr.Ming walked out to the waiting room, smiling at Sage's friends. "I hate to interrupt, but we relocated Sage, so he can accept visitors now. He'll be waking up soon."

Quill turned to Ariene. "Let's go!"

-Ariene immediately stood up and ran to the room where Sage was-

Following close behind, Quill entered the room.

"Sage, you awake yet?"

Sage heard a noise. His eyes opened, then squinted shut at the light. He groaned, trying to get himself to sit up, then winced at the pain in his arm. Looking down, he saw that it was bandaged, and his other arm was hooked up to an IV.

"Quill? Ariene?" He said weakly.

Quill smiled. "Hey."

"How are you feeling?"

"You're awake!" Ariene said happily

Sage's eyes met Ariene's, and he smiled widely. "Hey," he said, sitting up completely, trying not to wince. "I'm feeling okay. A little drowsy though," he said to answer Quill's question.

-Ariene looks at Sage's arm, which is all stitched and hooked up to wires, tears run down her face.- "I-im so sorry."

His eyes widened, and he wished he could run over there and hug her. He waved her over. "No, Ariene, it's okay!"

"I-i just, It's my fault, and- and I wish I could have done something to prevent it" Ariene said, still crying. "But all I did was run."

"No, it's not your fault, come here, it's okay," he said, hating to see her cry. "You didn't make me attack that girl with the knife. I made that choice, and I'm glad I did because in the end we're all okay."

Quill became stern, watching the conversation. "Ariene, this was NOT your fault, because it was Millie's, and Ceaser's, and that strange robotic girl's. They did this, not you."

"But I was the one who let Millie pick me up, I should have just waited instead of agreeing for her to come and just texting you and Mani that I was going. If I had just stuck to the plan…."
